11:30 a.m. - Storage area behind Coast Guard Station. Public Assist. Complainant reported 30 crab pots stolen from storage area within last four days. Citizen Crime Report completed.

1:00 p.m. - WPD. Public Assist. Concealed Pistol License prints for citizen.

1:10 p.m. - 200 Block E. Pacific. Suspicious Person. Complaint of person looking into windows. Officer checked area with negative results.

1:20 p.m. - Float 15. Malicious Mischief. Damage to door lock on boat. Reporting party gone upon officer’s arrival.

5:28 p.m. - N. 2nd & E. Pacific. Theft. Complainant reported unknown person had stolen his motorized scooter from front yard. Officer provided complainant with Citizen Crime Report.

1:03 a.m. - 1700 Block Nyhus. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer located white van parked on side of road with no license plates. Check of Vehicle Identification Number revealed it was from Wisconsin. Not reported stolen.

5:17 a.m. - 1800 Block S. Forrest. Suspicious Vehicle/Domestic Difficulty. Officer observed vehicle stuck in dirt with individual flagging officer down for help. Driver appeared intoxicated, refused to provide ID or turn off the vehicle and stop spinning tires. Officer contacted dispatch for county unit to respond for possible DUI. Female subject arrived with several witnesses who stated male subject had assaulted her and they were roommates. Officer ordered male out of vehicle. He did not comply. As officer reached for him, subject kicked officer. Officer pointed Taster at male, ordered him out of vehicle and he complied. GHCSO sergeant arrived and took over domestic violence investigation. Officer transported driver to GHC Jail for booking on Assault 3rd Degree and Disorderly Conduct.

8:57 a.m. - Ocosta High School 2400 Block S. Montesano. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Sheriff’s Office requested officer check on female student who left school grounds without permission. Officer located female at Westport Y bus mall and transported her back to school without incident.

6:08 p.m. - 2200 Block Westhaven. Vehicle Prowl. Report of vehicle with broken windshield and damaged steering column, same condition vehicle has been found in for several months. Officer reported this is how registered owner maintains his vehicle.

6:42 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific - South Bayview Apartments. Domestic Difficulty/Criminal. Male and female subject independently deny any assault had occurred — only verbal arguing. Two witnesses reported suspect and victim were lying. No indication or evidence of struggle and/or assault. Witness statements obtained. Report will be submitted to City Attorney.

9:42 a.m. - WPD. Citation. Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree Mandatory court appearance. No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550.

11:15 a.m. - 600 Block Hunley. Custody. Father wanted to collect his daughter from mother. Ongoing custody issues. History with APD. Mother not at residence.

12:30 p.m. - WPD. Harassment. Complainant stated she was receiving odd calls. Officer advised her to contact police next time she receives one and provide phone number from caller ID.

12:47 p.m. - 1200 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Accident. Report of gray van driving wrong way on Westhaven that hit mirror on driver’s side of Chevy Avalanche, drove through lawn area of Capt’n Jack’s Espresso and parked. Driver arrested. Citation: Reckless Driving and Hit & Run, both mandatory court appearance.

2:47 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Domestic Difficulty/Non-Criminal. Both parties stated verbal only. Officer observed no physical marks.

4:33 p.m. - S. Forrest & SR105. Agency Assist for WSP. Report of Chevy crewcab pulling another vehicle that left scene of collision. Officer checked area with negative results.

12:50 a.m. - 300 Block Mary. Disturbance. Reporting party stated loud talking coming from drug dealers in two units. Officer observed talking from one unit, not excessive. No sounds from other unit. Incident not as reported.

7:05 a.m. - 1400 Block S. Montesano. Domestic Difficulty. Officer checked area with negative results. Dispatch advised call was in Ocean Shores.

12:53 p.m. - 1800 Block N. Nyhus. Public Assist. Reporting party missing his wallet, last used at Westport Market on Wednesday. Already canceled credit cards.

2:15 p.m. - 100 Block Sprague. Vehicle Theft. Report of stolen 2006 Dodge Magnum. Report will be completed when owner provides registration. Per WSP, Emerald Towing has vehicle.

8:41 p.m. - 1600 Block W. Ocean. Agency Assist for SB Ambulance. Report of smoke alarm going off. Officer determined it was low battery.

9:05 p.m. - 2100 Block N. Nyhus. Suspicious Activity. Complaint of person knocking on door, but when complainant looked out window, no one was there. Officer checked area with negative results.

9:20 p.m. - Westhaven State Park. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer noticed vehicle parked with lights off. Driver stated he was writing in his journal. Driver’s ID came back clear. Officer observed no evidence of criminal activity.

10:13 p.m. - 100 Block W. Tacoma. Disorderly Conduct. Report of intoxicated male lying in reporting party’s backyard yelling. Officer contacted male suspect walking. No warrants. Suspect stated he was arguing on phone with co-workers. Complainant did not want to press charges, just wanted subject off their property. Officer told subject to go home and he did.

12:56 a.m. - 300 Block Mary. Disturbance. Reporting party stated loud talking. Officer checked area. Not as reported.

11:51 a.m. - 2300 Harms. Subjects camping in Ford Ranger. No one at site. Officer left red tag on vehicle. Requested night shift attempt to contact.

9:28 p.m. - Westhaven State Park. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle in park after hours. Male and female in backseat. Officer checked IDs. Came back clear. Officer told male subject they needed to leave area. They did so.

9:45 p.m. - Westport Light State Park. Suspicious Vehicle. Two vehicles parked. Officer contacted male and female in back seat of pickup. IDs came back clear. Officer told them they could not be in park at night. They left.

11:18 p.m. - Montesano & Ocean. Reporting party stated GMC pickup pulled off then began tailgating, flashing high beams, passed her, then cut her off. Reporting party believed it was road rage. Officer checked area. Suspect gone on arrival.

12:57 a.m. - WPD. Warrant confirmation request for Auburn PD. Unable to confirm.

2:19 a.m. - 100 Block W. Veterans. Domestic Difficulty/Non-Criminal. Verbal between male and female. Parties separated for night. Resource cards given.

12:07 p.m. - 1400 Block W. Ocean. Welfare Check. Officer checked on oddly parked vehicle. Missing person hit associated with vehicle out of Thurston County. Female in passenger seat matched description and identified as missing person. Transported to GH Community Hospital due to schizophrenia and medication request.

5:00 p.m. - 1000 Block N. Montesano. Citation: 43/30-mph zone. Fine: $124. Verbal warning for No Proof of Insurance.

8:30 p.m. - 10 Block Whalers. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Officer responded to assist county with report of 15-year-old male threatening to use gun. Deputies made entry and determined to be parental issue, verbal argument, and no gun present.

9:51 a.m. - 500 Block W. Pine. Order Violation. Female approached officer’s vehicle, stated male was in her home, high, and there was a No Contact Order, which officer found. Male had left location. Officer gave female subject statement to complete. Officer checked area with negative results.

12:24 p.m. - 900 Block S. Montesano. Domestic Difficulty. Female reporting party sounded intoxicated and wanted to know if dispatch had received a call of domestic difficulty for that location, then disconnected. Officer checked area. No female present and male stated he was alone.

2:15 p.m. - 200 Block W. Spokane. Public Assist. Request for extra patrols concerning speeding vehicles.

4:20 p.m. – 300 Block W. Ocean. Report of female posting suicidal comments on Facebook. Officer responded to addressed located in state system. No one there by subject’s name. Current resident has live there for past 15 years. No further calls received from reporting party.

4:36 p.m. – U.S. Post Office – 400 Block W. Ocean. Report of two juveniles loitering in lobby for 15-20 minutes. Juveniles stated that they were waiting in a safe place for their mother to pick them up. Mother arrived while officer on scene. No criminal activity.

5:00 p.m. – 1000 Block N. Montesano. Citation: Speeding – 43/30-mph. Fine: $124. No Proof of Insurance. Verbal Warning.

8:04 p.m. – 900 Block Cohassett Dunes. Verbal Argument between male and fiancée. Clarification of address determined that call was outside City limits. GHCSO deputy responded. Victim and suspect had left area. Officer and deputy searched area with negative results for male party. Female contacted and statement received.
