Sponsored by VFW 5th District, the 12th annual local Loyalty Day Parade will take place in Westport’s Marina District on Saturday, May 3.
The event line-up starts at 11 a.m. on Westhaven Drive in front of the Westport Maritime Museum. The parade rolls forward at noon down Westhaven Drive to the Port Observation tower.
All community members and visitors are encouraged to dress up your truck, trailer, car, bike, pets and/or yourselves in red, white, and blue to show your patriotic spirit!
An awards ceremony follows the parade at VFW Post #3057 in Westport with light refreshments included.
All businesses along the parade route are being asked to show their patriotic pride by displaying their American flags on Saturday, as well.
