Grays Harbor County Assessor candidate Dan Lindgren was informed via email on Sept. 14, that he has received the endorsement AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees) Local #275
According to Lindgren, Local #275 membership includes Grays Harbor County, City of Aberdeen, City of Hoquiam and Aberdeen School District bus employees.
The communication from Union Secretary Kimberly McCaw, also notified Lindgren that the local will be donating $100 to his campaign fund, along with a matching $100 donation from Washington State AFSCME Council #2.
“This is the largest union in Grays Harbor and I’m very happy to hear that my fellow county and city workers believe in me,” said Lindgren.
Lindgren is challenging incumbent GH County Assessor Rick Hole, who is serving his first 4-year term. This is the second time that the two have faced off for the position, with Lindgren losing to Hole in the last election.
