3:04 a.m. - 1500 Block SR105. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Officer responded to location for possible Domestic Violence incident. Subject gone on arrival. Not as reported.
6:06 a.m. - 1800 Block S. Montesano. Citation: Verbal Warning Speeding - 44/35-mph zone. No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550. Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. Mandatory Court Appearance.
9:46 a.m. - 1200 Block N. Montesano. Citation: Speeding - 42/30-mph zone. Fine: $154.
12:25 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Traffic Accident. Reporting party spoke with other driver, asked him to come to her work later to exchange information. Other driver has not appeared. Reporting party will call again if other driver does not show.
4:15 p.m. - 400 Block N. 1st. Theft. Reporting party said she left her cell phone outside and unknown person stole it. She tracked he phone to somewhere at Westaire Trailer Park. Officer spoke with several residents who had no knowledge of stolen phone. Reporting party given case number.
4:55 p.m. - 1500 Block SR105. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Officer responded to domestic violence situation in progress. Complainant said his ex-girlfriend had pushed him in chest area during verbal argument. Female gone on officer’s arrival. Complainant told to stay at location if he wanted to file a report, but he declined.
5:23 p.m. - 900 Block S. Forrest - Kila Hana Camperland. Disturbance/Firearms Complaint. Heavily intoxicated male said he was reading his Bible and shooting his pellet gun at wooden base of his bed to relieve stress. Officer advised his behavior was disturbing the peace and encouraged him to put pellet gun away while he was drinking and just stick with reading. Subject indicated he would behave himself for remainder of night.
6:36 p.m. - 140 Block W. Ocean - Sea Mist Apartments. Domestic Difficulty Criminal. Male and female subjects in verbal disagreement. Female struck male several times in attempt to get him to listen to her. Male indicated he felt pain when assaulted by female. No injuries were reported and both parties declined medical aid. Female arrested for Assault/Domestic Violence 4th degree, transported to WPD for paperwork then to GHC Jail for booking.
8:30 p.m. - 500 Block N. Montesano - Mid-Town Deli. Disorderly Conduct. Complainant reported male subject disorderly at apartment complex in 600 Block N. Broadway and at Mid-Town Deli. Subject gone on officer’s arrival. Officer located subject and issued Criminal Trespass warning. Subject indicated with his signature and verbally he would comply.
9:22 p.m. - 200 Block W. Oregon. Disorderly Conduct. Report of unknown teenage male walking in area and throwing glass bottle at stop sign. Area checked with negative results. Extra patrols requested.
9:22 p.m. - 800 Block W. Veterans. Malicious Mischief & Burglary. Complainant reported while he and his wife were out for a walk, unknown subject(s) entered their home through an unlocked window, ransacked bedroom and punched hole in wall. Fingerprint lifted from outside portion of window. Investigation ongoing.
10:58 p.m. - 800 Block N. 1st. Agency Assist for SBEMS. Aid requested for medical patient who was very upset and confused. Patient’s son stated no medical history, no alcohol, drugs. Officer assisted aid with placing patient on board and in ambulance.
11:02 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Welfare Check. Reporting party stated her daughter who has history of depression and schizophrenia had been gone for 3 hours. While in route, reporting party recalled and stated daughter had returned. Officers responded and spoke with both parties. Daughter stated she did not want to hurt herself or others.

12:37 a.m. Beach. Fire. Officer observed large, unattended fire on beach, roughly 20 feet across and sparks floating into dunes. Officer advised Dispatch and assisted with fire suppression.
12:50 p.m. - 600 Block W. Ocean. Landlord/Tenant Issue. Property owner wanted to change locks on occupied residence. Advised civil matter and that he needed to serve tenant with notice to fix house.
12:50 p.m. - 600 Block W. Ocean. Agency Assist for DOC. Assisted with felony warrant. Subject arrested and booked by DOC.
1:21 p.m. - E. Wilson & Nyhus. Traffic Accident. Stop sign damaged by propane delivery truck.
3:25 p.m. - 500 Block W. Pine. Assault/Domestic Violence Criminal. Complainant said he had gone to ex-wife’s home to talk to their adult son. While there, ex-wife struck him in the back of the head and on his back. As he was leaving, she threw a rock, striking and cracking his truck’s windshield. Complainant refused medical aid. Female denied striking male and denied throwing rock. Report completed with statements from male and female subject and a witness. Case forwarded to Westport City Attorney’s office for disposition of charges.
5:22 p.m. - 100 Block W. Sprague. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer observed unknown vehicle at location. Due to recent activity association with residence, officer attempted to contact tenant. No one home. Registration check indicated vehicle belonged to tenant. No criminal activity.
9:02 p.m. - 300 Block W. Ocean. Barking Dog. Dog located in yard, resident not home. Animal Control will be advised.
11:45 p.m. - 100 Block W. Ocean. Disturbance. Report of individuals yelling and baby crying. Female gave permission to check residence. No one besides fussy baby and sleeping 5-year-old at location.

1:09 a.m. - 700 Block Hancock. Extra patrols requested. Lights in parking lot not working due to construction.
3:34 a.m. - 700 Block S. Englewood- Westport Storage. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Manager advised male prowling units, ran off when spotted by dogs. Officer checked area with negative results.
11:37 a.m. WPD. Public Assist. Grays Harbor Transit driver came to WPD with child who got on wrong bus, was supposed to go to Tokeland. Contact was made with family that picked up child.
1:56 p.m. - 100 Block E. Elizabeth. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer contacted two males in parked vehicle who were eating lunch while on break from Washington Crab. After checking IDs and not seeing any criminal activity, officer cleared location.
4:32 p.m. - 100 Block N. Montesano. Suspicious Behavior. Officer made contact with male driver who appeared to be yelling and screaming while banging on steering wheel. Made contact with driver who pulled into Capt. Jack’s espresso stand and said he was upset because his young child in the back seat was demanding “coffee” (Italian soda) from coffee stand.
9:10 p.m. - 200-400 Block W. Hunley. Fireworks. Officer checked area with negative results.
10:14 p.m. - 300 Block W. Ocean. Barking Dog. Report of dog at listed location committing excessive barking at all hours of day and night. Referred to animal control.

1:06 p.m. - 300 Block E. Spokane. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine $550. Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. Mandatory Court Appearance.
3:37 p.m. - S. Forrest & W. Veterans. Citation: Expired Vehicle Registration. Fine: $216. Verbal warning for Defective Brake Light.
4:17 p.m. Mid-Town Shell – 500 Block N. Montesano. Complainant stated his EBT card had a balance of roughly $186 prior to buying food. Initial transaction did not go through. After second attempt for $42.44 was completed, balance showed $102.50. Employee produced receipt showing all EBT transactions totaled $79.50. Officer will complete a report and advised complainant to contact EBT card company.
4:47 p.m. - Central & Spokane. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer made contact with female and two males in vehicle who stated they wanted to park in shade. Officer advised them they were on private property and must leave. They left voluntarily.
10:08 p.m. - 400 Block E. Dock. Disorderly Conduct. Report of disorderly worker making vague threats to supervisor. Gone on officer’s arrival. Supervisor did not want to file charges.
10:33 p.m. - Half Moon Bay Beach Approach. Fire. Two separate bonfires in area. Advised first group it was day-use only. They put out fire and departed for relative’s property. Other group advised they would put out their fire and depart.
11:18 p.m. - 700 Block Hancock – Chateau Westport. Agency Assist for WFD. Backup generator smoking and sparking. Officer stood by in case of need to evacuate hotel. WFD turned off generator. No further problems.

6:48 a.m. - 200 Block W. Washington. Agency Assist for WFD. Assisted with residential fire.
9:15 a.m. - Central & Ocean. 911 hang-up call. Officer checked area with negative results.
3:16 p.m. - 800 Block E. Neddie Rose. 911 hang-up call. Dispatch called back number and caller advised no problem.
8:46 p.m. - 1300 Block Surf. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer observed vehicle parked on dead end. Contacted 4 occupants. Dispatch advised adult female and 17-year-old female had confirmed warrants. Officer arrested both females, transported adult to APD to be booked on three counts of Failure to Appear 3rd Degree Theft and youth was booked into Junction City Juvenile Detention Center for Truancy warrant.
9:42 p.m. - 600 Block Surf. Suspicious Persons. Report of male subject at two residences, screaming for help, saying someone was after him. Officer located male who said people from docks were chasing him. Officer provided courtesy transportation to residence.
11:57 p.m. Uptown Westport. Agency Assist for GHCSO/Alarm. Officer assisted deputy with alarm. Checked business. Secure.

8:07 a.m. - 100 Block E. Lila. Property. Complaint of subject living in trailer across from reporting party. Male stated he was not living in trailer, it is only being stored there.
8:25 a.m. - 100 Block E. Lila. Animal Complaint. Complainant reported his neighbors have an aggressive rooster. Officer requested Animal Control contact.
7:38 p.m. - 800 Block Surf. Public Assist. On foot patrol, officer found signs of persons being in undeveloped area. Extra foot patrols requested in area due to recent residential burglaries.
7:46 p.m. - 1300 Block Cohasset. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer observed unoccupied white GMC Jimmy with ignition panel removed. Check of vehicle showed it was not stolen. Owners returned from beach. No problem.
8:03 p.m. - 700 Block W. Lee. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer observed vehicle and motor home parked near GAR ball field, contacted owner who stated she just bought property and was in process on clearing it out.

12:34 a.m. - N. Broadway & Pacific. Verbal Warning given for Riding Bicycle at Night w/o Proper Reflectors.
12:53 a.m. - Montesano & Sprague. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle located with side door open. Officer contacted owner. Oversight, no problem.
11:56 a.m. – 2500 Block N. Nyhus. 911 Open Line. Female kept saying “Hello” and then hanging up phone. Dispatch unable to recall number. Officer checked area with negative results. Manager later able to locate subject. No problems.
12:50 p.m. - 100 Block W. Sprague. Landlord/Tenant. Complainant stated she was watching residence and saw unknown female changing locks. Officer contacted female who is owner of property and had evicted male tenant who had not paid rent in at least two months, but was subletting to female subject. Officer stood by as female subject removed belongings and advised all parties it was a civil issue.
3:29 p.m. – 400 Block S. Gold. 911 Open Line. Sounds of normal conversation in background. Dispatch unable to recall. Officer checked area with negative results.
7:37 p.m. – 1300 Block Surf. Suspicious Vehicle. Unoccupied vehicle parked off-road at dead end. Male subject came out of brush who had been picking mushrooms.
10:08 p.m. – 1600 Block Hancock. Unoccupied vehicle parked in area. Not reported stolen and appeared to be secured. No persons located in area. Officer checked later in shift. Vehicle gone.
10:21 p.m. – W. Lila and Cohasset Court. Suspicious Activity – Vehicle. Not reported stolen and appeared to be secured. No persons located in area. Officer checked later in shift. Vehicle gone.
10:46 p.m. – S. Forrest & W. Veterans. Suspicious Activity: Subject on motorized bike. Report of subject in all dark clothing riding motorized bike onto Lighthouse Dune Trail. While speaking with reporting party, officer observed bike rider southbound on N. Forrest at W. Ocean. No headlamp visible. Officer made contact and determined that subject had a headlight, however it was not visible up to 500 feet, as required by law. Verbal warning.
