Westport South Beach VFW Post #3057 will host a Pirate Party and Costume Contest with prizes on Saturday evening, June 27. The event includes a pirate costume contest and family dancing at no charge to attendees.
Food available for sale
Come at 5 p.m. if you’d like to ‘eat out’ and enjoy a low-cost dinner that includes a potato bar and child-friendly food entrees available for sale at very reasonable prices.
Costume contest
The costume contest judging and awards presentations will take place by division between 6 and 7 p.m. Pirate costume judging will be in the following divisions: Children from birth through age 12, Women, Men and Family Unit.
Prizes
Gift certificates for merchandise and/or services prizes will be awarded to winners in each division. In addition, all children who enter the contest will have the opportunity to select an item from the Kids’ Prize Table.
Family Dance
The costume contest will be followed by live music for family dancing from 7-9 p.m. Come kick up your heels with your kids for a great time.
The VFW Post home is located at 211 E. Pacific Ave. in uptown Westport.
