12:29 p.m. - 400 Block W. Ocean. Property. Complaint of white powder on Post Office floor and mail on floor by front counter. Mail on floor was from wrong Post Office boxes deliveries left for postmaster to re-insert into correct boxes. Powder was light with no obvious color. Officer requested Dispatch contact responsible party and advise of powder.
4:50 p.m. - 900 Block S. Montesano - Cranberry Motel. Disturbance. Report of manager and unknown male in verbal argument. Unknown male gone on officer’s arrival.
10:12 p.m. - 300 Block Surf. Suspicious Activity. Officer observed light flashing every 3-4 seconds. No persons or cars located at residence. All doors and windows secure.
10:27 p.m. - Pleasant & S. Montesano. Agency Assist for GHCSO/Suspicious Person. Report of unknown male in bushes. Officer checked area with negative results.

2:44 a.m. - 1800 Block Melbourne. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Officer made contact with mother of male involved in collision in Alaska, passed along information so she could contact Alaska State Trooper regarding son’s medical condition.
4:53 a.m. - 1600 Block W. Ocean. Citation: Speeding - 45/25-mph zone. Fine: $195.
12:20 p.m. - 100 Block N. Lighthouse. Assault. Mother and 14-year-old daughter in verbal dispute over daughter not completing homework. Daughter hit mother in arm and back. Report forwarded to Juvenile Court to charge daughter with 4th Degree Assault.
4:59 p.m. - 600 Block N. Ocosta. Public Assist. Two attempts to serve respondent with petition for Order of Protection.
7:38 p.m.- 600 Block N. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Inoperative Passenger Side Head Lamp.
7:43 p.m. - W. Lamb & N. Harms. Suspicious Vehicle. No persons in vehicle, Not reported stolen. Overnight shift advised.
10:16 p.m. - 1700 Block SR105. Agency Assist for GHCSO/Burglary in Progress. Incident not as reported. Male and female moving into location.

3:00 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific - Windjammer Motel. Civil Matter.
3:41 p.m. - 100 Block N. Lighthouse. Domestic Difficulty. Report of juvenile “out of control” and attempting to run away. Complainant called back indicating situation resolved. No police response required.
7:46 p.m. - Cohasset Crest & W. Lila. Malicious Mischief. Complainant calling in damage to boardwalk near beach approach. Damage already reported to WPD a few weeks prior.
8:00 p.m. - Float 4. Suspicious Activity. Extra patrols/security check completed due to increased amount of nighttime foot traffic. No criminal activity discovered.

4:00 p.m. - 100 Block W. Harris - Westport Library. Property. Reporting party stated that a set of DVDs that his son checked out were taken after he set them down and looked away.
8:08 p.m. - N. Montesano. Traffic. Anonymous caller stated male who does not have a driver’s license driving in red Mazda pickup. Cleared as information.
9:15 p.m. - Half Moon Bay parking lot. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle parked in lot after dusk. No one around. Officer will continue to monitor.
11:43 p.m. - 600 Block N. Broadway. Landlord/Tenant Issue. Reporting party upset because landlord entered room without permission. Landlord was worried something was wrong because tenant missed meeting earlier. Landlord advised to call WPD if she thought something was wrong.

12:43 a.m. - 900 Block S. Forrest. Disturbance. Report of loud music. Officer checked area with negative results.
1:19 a.m. - 900 Block S. Forrest. Disturbance. Reporting party stated music loud again but suspect turns it down when he sees police. Officer parked on street, walked into park, but heard nothing.
2:00 p.m. - 200 Block E. Harms. Domestic Difficulty. Female reported ex-boyfriend choked her three times nearly to point of unconsciousness, threatened her with broken beer bottle, assaulted her and threw her over a couch. Officer, with assistance from WSP and Shoalwater Bay Police, located suspect at Sand Verbena Bar and Grill, took him into custody and transported him to GHC Jail for booking on Suspicion of 2nd Degree Assault.
2:25 p.m. - 200 Block N. Broadway. Traffic Accident. Female stated she was adjusting sun-roof, not paying attention to road, left roadway and collided with utility pole and picket fence. PUD and South Beach Tow were called to scene and handled car and pole. SBEMS evaluated driver who refused transport to GHCH. Accident report filed as damage was over threshold.
7:37 p.m. - 600 Block N. Ocosta. Paper Service. Officer served papers on female.
8:52 p.m. - 1800 Block Dick’s. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Officer stayed on scene while deputy handled verbal disagreement.
11:40 p.m. - 1500 Block SR105. Agency Assist for GHCSO/Suspicious Person. Resident on foot heard woman screaming. Officer checked area with negative results.

12:07 a.m. - Westport Light State Park. Suspicious Vehicle. Chevy Camaro parked at State Park after dusk. Vehicle unoccupied.
5:07 p.m. - N. Montesano & W. Elizabeth. Verbal Warning: Expired Registration.
6:27 p.m. - 2500 Block N. Nyhus - Westport Inn parking lot. Found Property. Concerned citizen gave officer found driver’s license and credit card. Owner contacted and said she would be in Monday to pick up property.
9:05 p.m. - N. Nyhus & E. Wilson. Failure to Appear/Domestic Violence-Malicious Mischief. Male observed rummaging through white Dodge pickup. Officer verified male had permission to be inside truck. Subsequent check revealed male had City of Westport warrant for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and City of Hoquiam warrant for Domestic Violence. Due to jail status and nature of offense, Westport warrant was not confirmed. Officer drove suspect to Home Depot where custody was turned over to HPD.

10:19 a.m. – 400 Block W. Ocean. Disorderly Conduct. Complaint of male making obscene gestures and grabbing himself in sexual way. Officer contacted male who denied inappropriate behavior.
1:09 p.m. – 100 Block S. Montesano. Report of male slumped over bench by library. Officer contacted subject as he was walking north on S. Montesano. Subject stated that he was attempting to watch a video on his phone in sunlight and was leaning over to block glare.
5:35 p.m. – 700 Block N. Adams. Field Contact. Suspicious subject reported in area on foot. Officer made contact. No criminal activity evident. No reports of any criminal activity in area. Extra patrols requested for area.
7:27 p.m. – 100 Block W. Sprague. Landlord/Tenant Dispute. Initial report of a possible burglary determined to be damaged rental property. Tenant not on scene. Civil Dispute. Extra patrols requested.
