1:19 a.m. – 1900 Block N. Nyhus. Trespass. Contacted highly intoxicated female who did not seem aware of where she was. Courtesy transportation provided to sister’s home.
1:46 a.m. – 1400 Block S. Montesano. Suspicious Activity. Report of engine revving and female yelling. No criminal activity found. Female trying to get vehicle up steep driveway. Yelling for husband to help her.
5:22 a.m. – Dock & Westhaven. Traffic Stop: Speeding.
10:55 a.m. – 400 Block Neddie Rose. Traffic. Reported conflict between drivers of red Honda and silver Chevrolet pickup tailgating and flipping off one another. Drivers went separate ways prior to police contact.
11:29 a.m. – 2500 Block N. Nyhus. Death investigation.
6:18 p.m. – 1800 Nyhus. Theft. Report of theft from victim’s account by fraudulent ATM withdrawals. Ongoing investigation.
7:45 p.m. – Dock & Nyhus. Traffic Accident. Reportable collision between two vehicles. Both drivers arrived at WPD to report incident. Information exchanged. Report filed.
9:02 p.m. – 1900 Block N. Montesano. Animal. Deer struck by vehicle. Dispatched by officer due to unrecoverable injuries.
9:15 p.m. – 600 Block S. Aberdeen. Burglary. Cold burglary made into building, then into residence. Tools, food, helm wheel for boat and classic Nintendo gaming system with 40 games taken.
11:04 p.m. – 100 Block S. Montesano. Disturbance. Noise complaint regarding refrigerator truck in parking lot. Another officer had already talked to management who said they would take care of it the following day.
11:08 p.m. – 1600 W. Ocean – Westport Light State Park. Suspicious Activity. Bike in front of restrooms. Contacted male. Advised him park is closed after dusk. Also advised he needed a light for his bike.

2:10 a.m. – 1300 Block S. Ocosta. Disorderly Conduct. Intoxicated brother-in-law causing disturbance. Male subject left before officer’s arrival. No assault or malicious mischief took place. Reporting party not wanting to pursue charges.
6:11 a.m. – 1300 Block S. Montesano. Traffic. Flagged down by delivery driver who wanted to pass along information about reckless driving out by Ocean Spray plant. Advised would pass along to WSP and GHCSO.

6:01 p.m. – 100 Block S. Montesano. Public Assist. Returned phone call to Shop ‘N Kart employee in reference to 13-year-old wanting to purchase knife.
7:39 p.m. – WPD. Public Assist. Female subject wanted information regarding last officer who arrested her. Wanted to advise she was now feeling better. Report filed.

12:19 a.m. – WPD. 911 Hang-up call from phone outside WPD. Male subject stated he was hungry and hadn’t slept in four days. Wanted to be arrested so he could go to jail, get food and sleep. Advised him he could go to shelter in Aberdeen, which he declined. Advised him to contact clerk during business hours so she could contact foodbank and get him something to eat.
9:05 a.m. – W. Ocean & Grand Army. Welfare Check. Lost male with language barrier. Courtesy transportation provided. Family found.
9:05 a.m. – 200 Block Harbor. Traffic Accident. Citizen requesting report for vehicle collision on 7/16/16.
10:19 a.m. – 2400 Block Westhaven. Agency Assist for SBEMS. Assisted crew with loading patient with possible overdose.
11:45 a.m. – WPD. Walk-in contact for unlawful issuance of bank check. Report filed.
12:27 p.m. – 100 Block E. Harms – Westport Timberland Library. Trespass. Female refusing to leave. Arrested for Criminal Trespass 1st Degree. Booked into Aberdeen Jail.
1:00 p.m. – 800 Block N. 1st. Animal at Large. Report of dog killing chickens. Will forward to Animal Control.
5:49 p.m. – 200 Block W. Patterson – Mermaid Deli. Report of male subject who arrived extremely intoxicated. Fell off bar stool. SBEMS arrived. Transported subject to GH Community Hospital.
6:11 p.m. – 100 Block S. Aberdeen. Public Assist. Residential security check. Report filed.
7:02 p.m. – 600 Block N. Montesano. Court-ordered pick up of juvenile. 17-year-old female transported by Deputy to GH Juvenile Detention facility. Report filed.
8:37 p.m. – 400 Block W. Spokane. Trespass. Upon arrival, male subject had left area. Located male. Advised he was no longer welcome on property. Report filed.
9:14 p.m. – 700 Block N. Adams. Non-criminal Domestic Difficulty. Female called to advise she had broken up with boyfriend of 4 years. He was upset, intoxicated and drove off. She will call back if he returns.
9:15 p.m. – 2300 Block Westhaven – Deep Sea Charters. Found Property. Owners called to report they had left a rack of sweatshirts outside location. Sweatshirts located. Taken to WPD for safe keeping until business opens in morning.
9:27 p.m. – 900 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop. Driving with Parking Lights On. Driver advised it was rental car. Thought lights were on all the way. Driver’s license clear.
10:30 p.m. – 400 Block Windsand. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Stood by on Domestic Violence incident until deputy arrived.
11:02 p.m. – 600 Block G. Public Assist/Suspicious Activity. Extra patrols requested.

3:30 a.m. – Half Moon Bay. Suspicious Activity. Subjects talking in vehicle after hours. Advised of options.
4:07 a.m. – 1300 Block S. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Speeding.
8:02 p.m. – 700 Block E. Neddie Rose. Suspicious Activity. Report of RVs in area. Reporting party thought they would be camping there. Contacted subjects who were crabbing for the day. No intent of staying overnight.
8:43 p.m. – 100 Block S. Montesano. Theft. Shoplift by subject previously Trespassed from location. Suspect located behind Harms Field. Subject fled through woods and out to bay. Foot pursuit discontinued for safety of officer and suspect. Charges will follow.

8:33 a.m. – Surf & Lila. Male subject camping. Advised of City ordinances. Moved on.
8:37 a.m. – 1200 Block S. Surf. Fire Alarm. Contractor error.
8:41 p.m. – 600 Block S. Forest. Possible Burglary in Progress. Officer contacted reporting party. Found male subject passed out in recliner. Subject detained without incident. Statements collected. Forwarded to City Prosecutor for possible Trespassing charges.
10: 56 a.m. – 600 Block W. Newell. Theft. Information request regarding stolen children’s bicycle. Pink, Disney themed Huffy with white tires, pink rims and basket on rear.
11:07 a.m. – 1700 Block N. Nyhus. Traffic Stop: Speeding.
11:35 a.m. – 1600 Block W. Ocean. Stolen bicycle. Report taken. Orange and black Giant.
9:31 p.m. – Agency Assist for GHCSO. Verbal argument that turned into assault of a child. Female arrested by deputy.
