2:13 a.m. - 1600 Block Hancock. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer spoke with occupant of parked vehicle. Said he fell asleep after beach walk. Left voluntarily.
2:51 a.m. - 100 Block E. Washington. Disturbance. Officer dispatched to complaint about barking dogs. Attempted to wake owners but no one came to door. Left yellow tag about ordinance violation.
4:57 a.m. - 1500 Block N. Montesano. Citation: Speeding – 43/35-mph zone. Fine: $124.
5:04 p.m. - 500 Block W. Newell. Residence Security Check. All doors and windows of abandoned house secure.
5:21 p.m. - WPD. Public Assist. Officer returned phone call regarding civil matter that occurred in Aberdeen with GHCSO. Complainant referred to GHCSO.
7:17 p.m. - Marina District. Business Alarm. Officer checked area with negative results.
9:22 p.m. - 900 Block Pheasant Run. Public Assist. Foot patrol/security checks done around residence. No suspicious persons or criminal activity discovered.
9:37 p.m. - 200 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop. Verbal warning given for Inoperative Passenger Side Head Lamp.
10:14 p.m. - N. Montesano & E. Elizabeth. Citation: Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. Mandatory Court Appearance. Verbal warning for Inoperative License Plate Light.

12:10 a.m. - Jetty Haul. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle parked near USCG tower. Officer contacted sleeping male in driver’s seat and advised he could not camp at location. Driver left voluntarily.
1:06 a.m. - 1600 Block Cohasset Crest. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle parked in undeveloped area. Officer contacted two local females and advised them to move along. They left voluntarily.
10:51 a.m. - Harbor & Nyhus. Parking Problem. Complaint of vehicle blocking sidewalk. Officer located registered owner who moved vehicle.
1:24 p.m. - 1100 Block S. Aberdeen. 911 hang-up call. Unable to recall.
3:00 p.m. - E. Dock & Westhaven. Disturbance. Report of passed out intoxicated female who woke up and began yelling at complainant for calling police. Female subject said she was waiting for bus. Officer advised her to not yell at anyone and to wait for bus in calm, civilized manner.
4:12 p.m. - S. Forrest & W. Ocean. Citation: Failure to Stop at Stop Sign. Fine: $124.
5:15 p.m. - 1200 Block N. Montesano - Rogers Engineering. Complainant reported customer had come in to see if his stolen guns were at location. Complainant indicated guns had been brought in by customer’s sons a few weeks prior. During investigation it was learned guns had been stolen 4-6 weeks prior from Westport residence along with several pieces of expensive family heirloom jewelry. During interview it was learned suspect had made suicidal statements. Officer provided courtesy ride to GHCH for mental health evaluation. Completed report will be forwarded to GHC Prosecutor’s office for disposition and numerous felony charges.
5:26 p.m. - 2500 Block Westhaven - Bennett’s Fish Shack. Disorderly Conduct. Report of intoxicated female verbally harassing group of males and following them around. Officer arrived on scene and located female who he had previous talked to at 3 p.m. at bus stop. She indicated she was finally going to get on bus and go back to Aberdeen.

12:15 a.m. - 1800 Block N. Montesano. Citation: Speeding – 54/35-mph zone. Fine: $195. Expired Registration. Fine: $219.
12:40 a.m. - 900 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop. Verbal warning for no red reflector on rear of bike and no white light affixed to handle bars.
1:10 a.m. - 100 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop. Officer contacted male and advised him to walk against flow of traffic when there is no sidewalk.
7:20 a.m. - 1600 Block N. Montesano. Suspicious Person. Reporting party stated male subject approached customers asking them if they wanted to buy marijuana. Male stated he wanted a cigarette and asked them if they smoke (tobacco) and they took it the wrong way. Voluntary search of male revealed no marijuana.
3:22 p.m. - 300 Block N. Melbourne. Suspicious Person. Report of unknown male loitering. Officer checked area with negative results.
3:29 p.m. - Westhaven & Neddie Rose. Public Assist. Report of citizen who dropped her keys between large rocks next to jetty. Officer contacted WFD. Female fire personnel squeezed herself between rocks and used coat hanger to snag keys before they washed out to sea.
3:45 p.m. - 700 Block N. 1st. Theft. Complainant reported stainless steel fish cleaning tray stolen off her patio between Aug. 13 and Aug. 22. Extra patrols requested.
3:55 p.m. - 200 Block W. Wilson. Welfare Check. Veteran’s Affairs requested welfare check of male who made vague threats stating “someone will get hurt if VA doesn’t do anything.” Officer knocked and male subject refused to open door. Male stated he just wanted a doctor for his pain, the VA was not getting him help, he is not suicidal or homicidal. Officer cleared location and advised reporting party of situation.
8:31 p.m. - 2000 Block SR105. Agency Assist for GHCSO/Assault. Complainant reported upstairs neighbor was not a fit mother and was on drugs. No assault evident, no subjects found under influence of narcotics. Deputy arrived and interviewed both parties.

6:11 p.m. - 1600 Block N. Montesano. Suspicious Person. WDFW requested officer check on male subject who was attempting to get his boat trailer back from someone who borrowed it. Officer stayed on scene until trailer returned.
6:22 p.m. - 1800 Montesano. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Reporting party said male subject refused to leave her trailer space, had been yelling at her and had access to weapons in his trailer. No evidence of crime. Officer advised both parties to get no contact order if there are further issues.
6:26 p.m. - WPD. Public Assist. Male subject at station trying to get mental health help. Subject left to seek help in Aberdeen.

12:35 a.m. - 100 Block W. Bay. Suspicious Premises. Gate open at sewer treatment plant. Officer checked area, no one around, all buildings secure. Male subject contacted, arrived and secured gate.
1:57 a.m. – Ocean & Hoquiam. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle with parking lights on, running but unoccupied. Officer contacted registered owner who stated he was warming up car, getting ready to leave for work.
2: 15 p.m. - Uptown Business Alarm. Report of commercial panic alarm. Employees stated no problems.
4:40 p.m. - 1600 Block W. Ocean. Citation: Speeding – 38/25-mph zone. Fine: $154.
5:24 p.m. - WPD. Public Assist. Resident requested coordination with specific officer who was unavailable. Will pass message along when officer on duty.
5:37 p.m. - WPD. Public Assist. Resident requested phone call regarding laws in the city for motorized foot scooters.
5:53 p.m. - 2500 Block Nyhus. Vehicle Prowl. Second hand report of male panhandling in parking lot and going through coolers in various pickups. Officer checked area with negative results.
6:50 p.m. - 100 Block N. Olympia. Animal Cruelty. Report of Border collie tethered all day without food or water. Officer observed dog on long tether with food and water within reach.

12:26 a.m. - 900 Block S. Forrest. Disturbance. Subjects advised they had music turned up in their vehicle as they were unloading. Stated they would keep it down and turn it off in a few minutes.
1:00 a.m. - 200 E. Harms. 911 hang-up. Child playing on phone. No problem.
8:30 a.m. - Westhaven State Park. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer contacted driver of vehicle parked on restricted access road. He stated he and his family had slept the night there because they had been taking a long trip. Officer advised him of camping ordinance.
12:28 p.m. - 200 Block W. Patterson. Malicious Mischief. Reporting party stated someone had thrown a ceramic planter through passenger side window, no suspect information. Officer photographed damage and provided reporting party with Citizen Crime Report.
12:30 p.m. - 400 Block E. Neddie Rose. Lost Property. Reporting party stated she lost her red wallet in area of the Islander. Officer checked area with negative results.
1:48 p.m. - 1200 Block N. Montesano. 911 Open Line. Officer checked area with negative results.
2:22 p.m. - N. Montesano & W. Pacific. Suspicious Persons. Complainant reported male on bicycle followed her for several blocks before asking her for sex. Officer located male who denied allegations. Male has misdemeanor warrant out of Longview PD. They confirmed warrant however jail refused to hold on an out of county misdemeanor.
4:46 p.m. - 2200 Westhaven. Animal Cruelty. Report of dogs locked in vehicle when it was hot outside. Officer observed dogs not under duress, outside temperature 63 degrees, both rear windows open with proper ventilation.
5:50 p.m. - 1600 Block W. Ocean. Animal Cruelty. Report of dogs in a vehicle. Vehicle gone on officer’s arrival.
6:04 p.m. - WPD. Found Property. Found wallet returned to female owner.
6:10 p.m. - WPD. Public Assist. Complainant calling from Kansas to see if her warrant had been cleared by the court. No warrants located for listed subject.
12:09 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Child Custody. Officer made contact with female regarding custody of her three daughters. Girls’ father has visitation every other weekend but she had allowed the children to go to their father’s house in Olympia area for whole summer. She last spoke to her daughters one month ago and now father is not answering the phone when she calls. He is supposed to return children on Sunday but she doesn’t know where or when. Officer advised it is a civil issue based on current parenting plan. No criminal activity at this time.
8:54 p.m. - 700 Block W. Hancock. Welfare Check. Intoxicated male subject lying in grass. Officer identified and gave courtesy transport to home of subject’s father.
9:13 p.m. - CW Apartments. Public Assist. Foot patrol (security check) of apartments and around downtown businesses. All doors/windows secure. No signs or reports of criminal activity.
10:40 p.m. - 1100 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop. Verbal warning given for Improper Lane Usage.
10:47 p.m. - Harms & S. Montesano. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550. Verbal warning for Defective License Plate Light.

12:48 a.m. - 300 Block W. Washington. Malicious Mischief. Report of juvenile hitting and kicking sign to City Park. Subject ran off upon officer’s arrival. Officer contacted male who denied any wrongdoing. Charges pending once extent of damage is known.
12:50 a.m. - 600 S. Hoquiam. Residential Alarm. Interior garage motion sensor had been tripped. Side door and main door appeared secure. Cleared as false alarm.
12:59 a.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Disorderly Conduct. Male pounding on door to his apartment. He and female had been drinking, got into verbal argument over each other’s involvement with friends of opposite sex, male left to take a walk to cool off and when he returned to get his wallet, the door was locked. He began yelling and banging on door. Both parties advised to play nice and go to bed. Management advised if police needed to be contacted again they would be removed from property.
2:02 a.m. - 200 E. Patterson - Mermaid Bar. Disorderly Conduct. Male subject demanding refund and refusing to leave after being kicked out. Felony warrant confirmed. Subject booked into GH County Jail.
2:47 a.m. – 1600 Ocean. Suspicious Person. Security advised male subject on red bike took off when approached. Officer checked area with negative results.
4:27 a.m. - 800 Block Ocean. Malicious Mischief. Unknown suspect wrote “dick” on road with what looks like tile caulking and drew picture of penis next to words. Possibly suspect from earlier suspicious person call.
4:52 a.m. - 600 Block N. Montesano. Malicious Mischief. Mailbox knocked down, no other mailboxes damaged.
1:49 p.m. - 500 Block Ocean. Suspicious Person. Reporting party stated unknown female knocked on her door, asked to buy a pain pill and left on foot. No description and no females walking in area upon officer’s arrival.
3:00 p.m. - Float 21. Parking Problem. Parking in Yellow Restricted Loading Zone. Fine: $20.
4:07 p.m. - 100 Block S. Montesano - Red Apple Market. Malicious Mischief. Unknown person(s) drew large picture of male anatomy and words depicting specific male and female reproductive organs and body parts using white carpenter’s caulking. Person cleaning up caulking located empty caulking tube and requested it be dusted for prints in hope of tying it to recent burglary at same location.
6:19 p.m. - 400 E. Pacific. Child Custody. Father with joint custody did not return children today as he was supposed to. Officer contacted father who said female can contact him after 10:30 tonight to arrange for pick up time. Civil issue based on current parenting plan. No criminal activity at this time.
6:41 p.m. - 100 Block S. Montesano - Red Apple Market. Trespass. Report of people going inside when no one was supposed to be inside. Subjects going in were owner s’ daughter and associates. Not as reported.
9:27 p.m. - 300 Block Carney. Disturbance. Report of loud music and voices. Music turned down for night. No further complaints.
