10:19 a.m. - 1800 Block N. Nyhus. Threats. Reporting party advised spouse of employee she terminated made threats on Facebook to murder her. Officer advised her to seek an order. Report filed.

12:03 p.m. - Chehalis & Dicks. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Attempt to locate Driving Under the Influence suspect stuck in ditch. Suspect gone on officer’s arrival.

3:58 p.m. - 300 Block S. Montesano. Theft. Report taken on theft of life raft and fishing gear.

4:17 p.m. - 1200 Block N. Montesano. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550. Driving While License Suspended. Mandatory Court Appearance.

2:18 a.m. - 700 Block E. Elizabeth. Suspicious Vehicle. White Dodge Ram pickup parked in roadway. Driver arrested for DUI, booked into GHC Jail. Passenger cited for urinating in public.

2:47 a.m. - 200 N. Broadway. Disorderly Conduct. Female refusing to leave house. While officer in route, reporting party called back, stating female left.

5:10 p.m. - 200 Block N. Broadway. Disorderly Conduct. Same subject from previous contact returned stating her purse was still in house. Criminal Trespass warning issued.

5:31 p.m. - 2400 Block N. Nyhus. Theft. Officer took report of theft of trailer keys and title.

8:10 p.m. - 600 Block Surf. Report of lost cat that later returned.

8:34 p.m. - WPD. Call request to follow up on earlier theft report.

9:27 p.m. - Pacific & Ocosta. Verbal Warning: Lane Travel.

10:18 p.m. - 700 Block N. Forrest. Intoxicated Person. Male found standing in middle of road, cooperative. Courtesy transport provided to residence.

11:22 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific - Windjammer Motel. Trespass. Report of customer refusing to leave for non-payment. Manager and customer agreed to work things out in morning.

5:17 a.m. - 200 Block E. Dock - Holiday Motel. Theft. Report of theft from soda machine. Report filed.

9:17 a.m. - 1200 Block Johnson. Theft. Reporting party’s car was rummaged through. Nothing was missing except fuel.

10:48 a.m. - 600 Block S. Aberdeen. Custodial Dispute. Report of verbal argument over child custody. Officer advised both parties of their legal options. They agreed to separate.

11:47 a.m. - 200 Block W. Park. Animal at Large. Report of two dogs running loose. One dog located and returned to owner.

1:05 p.m. - S. Montesano & Harms. Warrant. Subject arrested for Failure to Register as Sex Offender and outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Subject booked into GHC Jail.

4:53 p.m. - 900 Block S. Forrest. Verbal Warning: Speeding - 38/25-mph zone and Lane Travel.

5:57 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Theft. Evicted subjects took carpet shampoo machine with them. Report filed.

8:51 p.m. - WPD. Harassment. Reporting party requested call concerning harassing telephone calls and texts. Officer advised her to get order through county courts.

8:58 p.m. - 100 Block S. Montesano. Citation: No Valid Operator’s License. Fine: $550. No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550. Hit and Run. Mandatory Court Appearance.

9:34 p.m. - 800 Block S. Forrest. Report of motorized bike with no lights traveling at high rate of speed. Cleared as information due to other call.

9:50 p.m. - S. Broadway & Hunley. 911 Open Line. Officer checked area with negative results.

10:54 p.m. - 300 Block S. Montesano. Report of prowler in reporting party’s garage. All subjects identified. Stated they had permission from female resident. Officer advised subjects to leave until female resident was home.

12:42 a.m. - Rural Westport. Agency Assist for GHCSO/Business Alarm. All gates, doors and windows appeared secure. No audible alarm evident.

12:52 a.m. - 2400 Block N. Nyhus. Threats. Officer returned phone call regarding threats.

1:40 a.m. - 300 Block S. Montesano. Harassment. Report of female subject who did not reside at location allegedly harassing male subject. Harassment complaint unfounded. Another female indicated male subject was not to be at location per temporary protection order. Male had court document that allowed him on property but has to remain 100 feet from actual residence. Male subject left for night until court orders can be clarified by issuing judge.

6:28 a.m. - 900 Block N. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Inoperative License Plate Light.

10:35 a.m. - 800 Block N. Montesano. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550. Driving While License Suspended. Mandatory Court Appearance.

12:10 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Landlord/Tenant. Officer assisted female in getting her belongings.

1:25 p.m. - 1400 Block S. Forrest. Unknown Problem. Report of six people at location, two of them with weapons, in verbal argument. Officer checked area with negative results.

3:10 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Civil. Complainant requested contact in reference to paperwork for upcoming case.

4:55 p.m. - 300 Block Forrest. Malicious Mischief. Not as reported.

5:49 p.m. - 500 Block S. Forrest. Residential Alarm. All doors and windows secure. No answer at door. Neighbors indicated they had seen residents leave just prior to officer’s arrival. Second alarm activation at 7:46 p.m. Residents had entered wrong security code, confirmed by alarm company.

6:23 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Public Assist. Two separate female subjects served with Notice of Hearing-Harassment orders out of GH District Court No. 2.

6:36 p.m. - 600 Block S. Aberdeen. Non-criminal Domestic Difficulty. Officer contacted male and female independently and determined it was verbal argument only. Male left until situation could be resolved. No criminal activity.

6:58 p.m. - 700 Block W. Hancock. Suspicious Person. Report of suspicious person in reference to recent vehicle prowls. Officer determined male subject not connected to prowls. Extra patrols ongoing.

8:00 p.m. - U.S. Post Office parking lot. Suspicious Person. Report of two subjects loitering near loading dock area. Officer checked area with negative results.

8:09 p.m. - 200 Block W. Ocean. Verbal Warning: Inoperative License Plate Light.

8:45 p.m. - N. Montesano & E. Patterson. Verbal Warning: Failure to Signal Turn and Inoperative License Plate Light.

2:23 a.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Property. Reporting party requested contact reference loaning his vehicle to employee who had not returned it. Employee had Driving While License Suspended on ID card. Officer warned reporting party he could receive citation for allowing unlicensed driver to drive his vehicle.

8:19 a.m. - 100 Block S. Montesano. Warrant. Officer arrested male subject on DOC warrant. Booked at HPD.

9:10 a.m. - 500 Block S. Forrest. Residential Alarm. Officer responded to vacation house. Guests not given correct alarm deactivation procedure.

9:52 a.m. - 300 Block N. Forrest. Suspicious Person. Reporting party advised prowlers at night. Extra patrols requested.

11:17 a.m. - 300 Block N. Forrest. Assault/Fight. CPS investigation of allegations of child abuse.

12:07 p.m. - 500 Block S. Forrest. Residential Alarm. Three separate activations of duress alarm. Officer spoke with homeowner and family. No signs of problem. Homeowner advised alarm was malfunctioning.

12:28 p.m. - 300 Block W. Ocean. Traffic. Outdated license plates. Officer installed new license plates for driver.

1:09 p.m. - 500 Block N. Montesano. Driver stopped for expired tabs. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550.

2:37 p.m. - 1400 Block S. 1st. Domestic Difficulty. Report of male subject taken hostage at gunpoint. Officer contacted male at location who stated he was not in any danger or under threat. Officer contacted reporting party. Advised her report was unfounded.

3:01 p.m. - S. Broadway and Newell. Suspicious Activity. Report received of vehicle that entered dead end and did not come out. Officer checked area with negative results.

3:50 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Agency Assist for Dalles, Ore. PD. Request to contact female subject and ask her to contact reporting party. Neighbors reported female moved to Elma a long time ago. Officer passed along name of female’s employer to reporting party.

7:32 p.m. - 100 Block S. Forrest. Motorist Assist. Male subject reported his vehicle broke down, was off roadway and he would get it removed as soon as possible.

8:45 p.m. - 1500 S. Broadway. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Trespass. Report of male subject with weapons trespassing. Female and male on scene extremely intoxicated. No weapons actually seen. No criminal activity evident. Officer advised incoming county unit.

9:26 p.m. - 1600 Block N. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Following Too Close.

12:09 a.m. - 200 Block E. Patterson. Assault/Fight. Male subject reported unknown young male struck him unconscious for a few seconds, then fled. No other patrons witnessed assault. Investigation open. Attempting to identify suspect.

1:34 a.m. - 200 Block S. Grand Army. Residential Fire Alarm. Upon arrival, responsible person indicated no problem. False alarm due to issues with system. Incoming fire unit advised of situation.

1:35 a.m. - 200 Block S. Grand Army. Agency Assist for WFD. Residential Fire Alarm. Male staying at location stated he checked residence and garage. No problem. Advised there have been other issues with alarm system. Will have alarm company check it out.

1:35 a.m. - 700 Block Hancock - Chateau Westport parking lot. Motorist Assist. Interior light on in vehicle. Officer advised night clerk.

10:34 a.m. – 200 Block W. Wilson. Assault/Fight. Male reported an assault. Gone from scene on officer’s arrival. Officer attempted contact with reporting party at his residence with negative results.

3:07 p.m. – 500 Block N. Montesano. Citation: Speeding – 43/30-mph zone. Fine: $154.

3:45 p.m. – 200 Block E. Dock – Holiday Motel. Agency Assist for SBEMS. Officer stood by. No action taken. Patient not transported.

6:02 p.m. – 200 Block E. Dock. Citations: Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. Mandatory Court Appearance. No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550.

8:10 p.m. – 1400 Block N. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Speeding: 35/25-mph zone on Jetty Haul Road.

8:47 p.m. – 600 Block S. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Defective License Plate Light.

10:16 p.m. – 700 Block W. Hancock. Report of suspicious juvenile male that asked to buy a drink, then walking around hotel. Officer checked area for described subject with negative results.

11:58 p.m. – Float #8. Alarm aboard FV Morning Star. Boat did not appear to be taking on water. Officer used contact numbers posted on boat. Dispatch reached individual who stated that he would respond “shortly.”
