Ocosta School District’s popular Summer Program will be offered July 6 through July 30 this year, starting with a Kick-off Pizza Party for participants and their families at noon on the 6th.
The program is available to every Ocosta student entering 1st grade and beyond. The Summer Program runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Bussing, breakfast, lunch and a snack will be provided daily free of charge. Each morning, all students will focus on academics, including reading and mathematics. After lunch, students will have the choice to pursue their own interests.
The Summer Program will offer activities such as art, dance, basketball, Lego robotics, cooking, drama, yoga, weight lifting, sewing and more. An exciting new addition to the program this year is weekly field trips.
The program ends on July 30 with a Family Picnic and Program Showcase. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and register any weekday between now and July 6 at the Ocosta School District Administration office.
