WEfish will host an open house event Saturday, March 19, from 5-7 p.m. at McCausland Hall on the Westport Maritime Museum campus to encourage our families and communities to support our commercial fishing industry.
Come hear from WEfish about the group’s mission, current plans, and what lies ahead for the organization.
Guest speakers include Representative Brian Blake of the 19th Legislative District and Rev. Irene Martin, accomplished author and leader of the Columbia River Salmon for All organization.
Many local fishing associations will be present with information, as well. Food and beverages will be served. There will also be a raffle for great items with all proceeds going to promote our fishing industry.
