4:55 a.m. – 900 Block S. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Cracked Windshield.

5:59 a.m. – 300 Block E. Wilson. Traffic Stop: Speeding/Driving While License Suspended.

12:55 p.m. – 100 Block S. Montesano. Animal Issue. Report of young black lab with no collar running loose.

1:23 p.m. – 200 Block I. Welfare Check. Check of male subject requested. Subject had called doctor’s office threatening to kill people. Unknown weapons. History of depression. Roommate advised subject is in hospital for mental health evaluation.

7:47 p.m. – 1600 W. Ocean. Suspicious Activity. Crime Watch reported suspicious vehicle in area. Officer checked unoccupied vehicle. No signs of problem.

4:14 a.m. – 2500 Block N. Nyhus. Suspicious Person. Report of male walking up on porch, shining light inside, trying door handle. Appeared confused when he saw reporting party. Subject looked at cottage number, stepped off porch, looked at other cottages. Officer checked area with negative results.

6:00 a.m. – 1700 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Speeding.

6:36 a.m. – 300 Block N. Montesano. Suspicious Person. Report of suspicious person looking in impound yard of South Beach Tow. Officer contacted female subject familiar to officer. Subject rambled for a while, then moved on.

8:47 a.m. – Ocosta Elementary School. Panic alarm at school. No problem. Child playing on phone.

2:44 p.m. – 1st & Pacific. Suspicious Vehicle. Second hand info from text from reporting party’s husband of unknown type vehicle in ditch. Non-reportable.

7:18 p.m. – Uptown. Business Alarm. Interior motion alarm. Contacted night janitor. No problem.

10:47 p.m. – 1500 Block S. Olympia. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Assisted Deputy on traffic stop with uncooperative subject.

12:36 a.m. – 200 Block E. Pacific. Suspicious Person. Contacted female subject at VFW. Advised her it was closed and for members only. All windows and doors secure.

10:47 a.m. – 200 Block S. Aberdeen. Welfare Check. Reporting party requested contact because daughter and boyfriend are fighting. Boyfriend won’t let her come outside. Not as reported. Verbal dispute between father and boyfriend over use of Post Office box.

11:10 a.m. – 1400 Block S. Montesano. Theft of fishing weights. Awaiting list of items taken.

1:45 p.m. – 300 Block N. Melbourne. Burglary. Report of burglary in residential detached garage.

9:20 p.m. – Hancock & S. Hoquiam. Public Works. Tree down blocking roadway. Street Department on-call employee advised they will clear roadway. Stop sign also damaged. Temporary stop sign placed at scene.

1:42 a.m. – Neddie Rose & Cove. Public Works. Street Department notified of flooding along streets.

1:55 a.m. – 200 Block W. Spokane. Residential Alarm. Doors and windows secure. Power went out shortly before alarm company called. Possibly weather related.

2:00 a.m. – Uptown. Business Alarm. ATM alarm. Nothing appeared to be wrong with machine. Appears to be weather related/power outage.

8:48 a.m. – 500 Block Beach. Police Information. Report of 30-foot tall oceanographic buoy having broken free from Newport, Ore. Washed up on beach. Reporting party advised they will pick it up March 11. USCG advised.

9:13 a.m. – N. Montesano & W. Ocean. Public Assist. Report of downed power line. PUD arrived on scene.

2:19 p.m. – S. Forrest & W. Ocean. Traffic Stop: Stop Sign Violation.

2:24 p.m. – 500 Block S. Montesano. Traffic Stop. Using Cell Phone While Operating Motor Vehicle.

2:35 p.m. – N. Nyhus & E. Patterson. Traffic Stop: Stop Sign Violation.

3:11 p.m. – 200 Block E. Dock – Washington Crab. Disorderly Conduct. Report of female subject being disorderly toward employees. Report filed.

7:39 p.m. – 100 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Defective Headlamp.

8:43 p.m. – 300 Block N. Montesano. Suspicious Vehicle. Crime Watch called in female acting strangely in vehicle. Possibly someone inside impound yard. Owner arrived. Checked yard. Nothing out of place.

10:36 p.m. – 300 Block N. Montesano. Animal at Large. Medium-sized black lab or retriever running in area. Not aggressive. Traffic hazard. Would not come to citizen or officer. Information sent to Animal Control.

10:52 p.m. – 2400 Block N. Nyhus. Disorderly Conduct. Complaint of yelling and door slamming. Officer drove through trailer park. Heard nothing.

11:09 p.m. – 2500 Block N. Nyhus. Property. Bathroom door did not close all the way so automatic lock did not secure door. Officer checked bathroom. No one inside. Secured door.

11:23 p.m. – Veterans & Forrest. Agency Assist for WSP. Assisted Trooper with DUI stop.

1:10 a.m. – WPD. Found Property. Male and female located abandoned duck egg blue Huffy 18-speed bicycle in ditch near their residence. Bike tagged. Placed with other recovered bicycles.

9:05 a.m. – 2400 Block N. Harms. Code Violation. Report of unknown subjects illegally camping in field west of Totem RV Park. Signs of squatters in area. Extra patrols to be conducted.

1:05 p.m. – 200 Block E. Wilson. Traffic Stop: Failure to Signal Turn/Failure to Obtain Washington State Driver’s License/No Proof of Insurance.

5:47 p.m. – Montesano & Patterson. Traffic Stop: Speeding.

6:02 p.m. – 300 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: No Splash Aprons.

6:37 p.m. – WPD. Information. Phone call request regarding possible drug activity in residence.

8:20 p.m. – 1200 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Defective Headlamp/Misdemeanor Warrant.

11:33 p.m. – 600 Block S. Olympia. Suspicious Activity. Dome light on in vehicle. Contacted owner. Appears to be oversight.

12:20 a.m. – 800 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Defective Tail Lamp/Driving While License Suspended out of Oregon.

4:54 a.m. – 2400 Block N. Nyhus. Agency Assist for SBEMS. Several 911 calls from male calling for his friend who lives at Totem RV park, unknown space. Dispatch made contact with friend. Contacted subject. Non-law enforcement issue. Officer stood by until EMS arrived.

10:08 a.m. – Chehalis & S. Hoquiam. Public Assist. Report of downed power line.

10:10 a.m. – Chehalis & S. Melbourne. Suspicious Person. Subject stop conducted on suspicious female.

12:00 p.m. – 1800 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Speeding.

12:10 p.m. – 200 Block W. Maple. 911 Open Line. No emergencies located in listed area.

2:30 p.m. – 400 Block E. Neddie Rose – Islander. Suspicious Activity. Report of white male outside building with vehicle parked between buildings. Officer contacted male who is new owner.

2:30 p.m. – Pier 20. Suspicious Activity. Report of 3 males keeping under-sized crabs. WDF issued 3 criminal citations for possession of illegal crab.

9:24 p.m. – 200 Block E. Harms. Person. Landlord asked reporting party to call. Male standing naked inside apartment in front of window. Reporting party concerned because she has children who can see male. Officer contacted male. Advised he needed to keep curtains closed.

10:48 p.m. – 500 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Defective Head Light.

10:59 p.m. – 200 Block W. Patterson. Traffic Stop: Speeding.

11:47 p.m. – WPD. Information regarding previously reported hit and run.

12:50 p.m. – Report of illegally equipped 4-wheeler southbound on S. Forrest. Officer checked area with negative results.

1:38 p.m. – 200 Block W. Ocean. Report of large tree down blocking both lanes. Removed by citizen.

1:52 p.m. – 1300 Block Johnson. Possible broken water main at location. Water flowing into street and drainage ditch. Water Department notified.

9:42 p.m. – 300 Block N. Forrest. Report of a lot of vehicle traffic to and from residence. No obvious criminal activity observed. Information only at this time.

11:32 p.m. – 600 Block W. Ocean. Traffic: Expired Registration/No License on Person.
