Two men and one woman were injured in a collision at the junction of SR105 South and S. Forrest Street early yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, May 6.
Grayland resident, Ron Barker, 70, was traveling north on SR105 in his 2002 Toyota Pickup truck when he was struck by a 1995 Jaguar XJS 2-door in the intersection at the Grayland ‘T’ at about 1:30 p.m.
Douglas L. McLeod, 70, of Langley, BC, was driving the Jag, accompanied by Leanne M. McLeod, 72, when he failed to stop for the stop sign.
All three sustained injuries and were transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital. Douglas McLeod was then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Due to privacy laws, no information was available on their condition.
According to a Washington State Patrol memo, both vehicles were totaled, all three were wearing seat belts and no alcohol or drugs were involved.
McLeod was cited for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.
