12:28 a.m. – Elizabeth & G. Loud Party complaint. Officer contacted a small group around a fire pit who agreed to keep the noise down.

6:21 a.m. – Forrest & Lila. 911 hang-up in area. Unable to recall. Officer checked area with negative results.

10:13 p.m. – 300 Block W. Newell. Prowler reported. Male subject on bike seen on surveillance camera. Subject reported to have had a headlamp and to have knocked on residence door. Extra patrols requested.

10:45 p.m. – 1500 Block S. Aberdeen. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Loud Music complaint. Officer heard music from a block and a half away. Resident agreed to turn music down.

5:43 a.m. – Ocean & Forrest. Citation: Failure to Stop at Stop Sign. Fine: $124.

1:27 p.m. – 200 Block N. Aberdeen. Dog At Large. Bulldog wearing a red collar. Officer checked area with negative results.

2:26 p.m. – 1600 Block N. Montesano. Reckless Driver reported. Attempted to locate a newer lime green Chevy Camaro driving southbound. Officer was in the area at the time of call. No vehicle matching description seen.

3:03 p.m. – 1600 Block N. Montesano – Hungry Whale. Re-dispatch of same call as previous. Officer checked area with negative results.

3:08 p.m. – 600 Block N. Forrest. Malicious Mischief. Resident reported that after returning from a trip to beach with family, he found a golf ball-sized dent in side of residence near garage. Extra patrols requested.

5:29 p.m. – SR105 & Bonge. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Male subject with mental issues reported in area. Officer made contact with subject and stood-by until deputy arrived to handle call.

8:38 p.m. – N. 2nd and E. Sprague. Suspicious Activity. Report of kids shooting BB guns. Officer checked area. Gone on arrival. No further complaints received.

10:08 p.m. – 100 Block W. Ocean – Pine Tree Lounge. Disorderly Person/Warrant arrest. Intoxicated male reported to be attempting to start fights with other patrons and refusing to leave. Officer removed subject from location. Records check showed an active Westport warrant for Failure to Comply with a court order. Subject transported to P.D., processed, given a new court date and released on own recognizance due to jail status RED.

11:20 p.m. – 900 Block N. Montesano. Mental Issues. Father calling for adult son with mental issues. Subject taken into protective custody, transported to hospital for mental evaluation.

11:47 a.m. – 200 Block N. Broadway. Agency Assist for Adult Protective Services (APS). Public Assist. Officer accompanied APS worker to residence for a welfare check.

12:11 p.m. –S. Montesano & Harms. Baseball Field. Report of three deer on field inside fence. They appeared confused and unable to get out. Gone on officer’s arrival.

12:15 p.m. – Westhaven – Float #3.Theft. Approximately 700 gallons of gas reported stolen from FV Swellrider. No suspects at this time. Boat owner will check vessel surveillance cameras’ footage and then re-contact P.D.

4:36 p.m. – 300 Block S. Montesano. Agency Assist for APD. Request for contact with registered owner of a vehicle found in Aberdeen with doors unlocked and key in ignition. Officer attempted contact with vehicle owner at his registered address with negative results. APD advised.

5:27 p.m. – P.D. Ongoing Case Information. Officer returned a phone call to RCMP constable regarding an information request in an ongoing investigation.

6:17 p.m. – 200 Block S. Montesano – Harms Field. Juvenile female came to P.D. to report harassment at the ball field from other juveniles approximately two hours previous to report. During conversation, teen stated that she was supposed to be in North Cove and not Westport. Mother contacted and advised of her daughter’s location. Family member picked up subject and transported her to her residence.

6:36 p.m. – P.D. Public Assist. Female adult heard that her lost wallet had been turned into P.D. Advised that wallet was not yet turned in.

8:18 p.m. – 200 Block S. Grand Army. Welfare Check. Elderly female confused but otherwise fine. Elderly male on scene to care for her. Medical aid decline.

5:53 a.m. – 400 Block W. Pacific. Welfare Check. Reporting party requested a check on her brother. He had not been heard from in two weeks and was overdue to dog sit for another sister in Tacoma. Officer checked residence. All doors locked. Locksmith called. He gained entry. Subject not there, nor were his two dogs. Attempt to Locate broadcast through Dispatch.

Reporting party later called P.D. and stated that brother was located in Oregon.

8:20 a.m. – P.D. Charter office owner turned in missing wallet. Owner notified by phone.

1:30 p.m. P.D. Owner of missing wallet picked it up.

3:54 p.m. – 500 Block N. Montesano. Citation: Passing on the Right. Fine: $124.

4:27 p.m. – 800 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Accident. Non-injury collision in parting lot. Front bumper damage to one vehicle. Citation: Driver of offending vehicle cited: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550.

4:34 p.m. – 600 Block N. Hoquiam. PUD reported that approximately 40 ft. of wire stolen from location. Residence abandoned.

9:00 p.m. – 700 Block N. Forrest. Theft. PUD reported that residence had wire bypassing meter to steal power. Owner of residence determined. Criminal Citation: Defrauding a Public Utility 3rd Degree forwarded to Westport Municipal Court for mailing.

12:16 a.m. – Breakers Boutique Inn – Parking Lot – 900 Block N. Montesano. Vehicle back hatch open. Appears to be an oversight. Officer closed hatch and left a business card requesting that P.D. be contacted if anything was missing.

2:31 a.m. – 1800 Block N. Nyhus. Assault/Fight. Mother called to report that son was assaulted at work. Son declines to press charges. Officer suggested that mother speak with supervisor at work. Suspect known to victim. They attended high school together.

6:02 a.m. – 200 Block Maple. Water Leak. Water Department supervisor advised by phone.

9:59 a.m. – Chateau Westport – 700 Block W. Hancock. 911 hang-up. Desk clerk unaware of any problems.

1:19 p.m. – 200 Block E. Elizabeth – City Apartments. Trespass Complaint. Property manager requested a check on a specific apartment. Neighbor reported noises from apartment the night before. Apartment is supposed to be vacant. Officer found doors open at both apartment in question and another nearby apartment. No one inside. Apartments secured. Manager advised.

3:23 p.m. – N. Nyhus Parking Lot #3. Traffic Accident. Vehicle struck truck at low rate of speed. Insurance information exchanged. No injuries. No traffic blocked.

10:56 p.m. – Kim Lee & Rockney. Agency Assist for WSP. Trooper requested stand-by while testing. When officer arrived at scene, trooper advised that he was done testing. Officer cleared scene.

12:32 a.m. – Westhaven Float #5. Malicious Mischief. Boat owner reported that someone had left a hose running into his fish tank. Ongoing problem with other fishermen, as well. Extra patrols requested.

1:49 a.m. – Montesano & Elizabeth. Theft. Forklift reported stolen from Washington Crab. Recovered north of Montesano & Elizabeth intersection. Suspect appeared to have attempted to go off-road and failed to negotiate incline on slight hill, causing forklift to tip over onto its side. Plant night manager contacted. Employees took possession of forklift and drove it back to shop. Officer awaiting damage estimate for report.

12:03 p.m. – 200 Block W. Wilson – Holand RV Center. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Registered Sex Offender address verification. Confirmed. GHCSO advised.

3:33 p.m. – 1000 Block N. Montesano. Warrant Arrest. Male subject arrested on outstanding warrant, transported and booked into jail.

12:10 a.m. – 1000 Block N. Montesano. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550.

1:39 a.m. – N. Montesano & Bay. Arrest: Driving Under the Influence. Mandatory Court Appearance.

7:37 a.m. – 1900 Block S. Forrest. Broken water pipe in residence. Water Department contacted and responded.

11:50 a.m. – 2400 Block N. Nyhus. Initial report of Domestic Violence Assault – Verbal between male and female. Not as reported. Two juvenile males playing outside only. No criminal activity.

2:30 p.m. – Westhaven & Sue Hoffman. Lost Property - Wallet. Reporting parting canceling debit/credit cards. Information only at this time.

3:00 p.m. – P.D. Girl’s bike found on Lighthouse Dune Trail. Turned into P.D.

3:37 p.m. – 300 Block S. Montesano. Suspicious Activity. Report of group of children climbing a tree trying to catch an eagle. They were unsuccessful. Officer contacted children and advised them not to harass wildlife.

6:18 p.m. – 400 Block E. Pacific – City Apartments. Child reported to be hitting reporting party’s car with a stick. Mother agreed to keep her children away from his car. Both parties verbal and accusing each other of child abuse. Civil Matter. Suspect 4-years-old and easier to talk to than the adults. involved.

6:18 p.m. – 100 Block E. Wilson – Former Jolly Roger building. Suspicious Activity. Report of a female sitting behind building. Highly intoxicated and very verbal. She was advised to stay off property. Officer later observed same subject throwing rocks at people, however, she was too far away to hit anyone. She later was reported as a disorderly subject at Totem RV Park. Officer checked area for her with negative results.
