Cancer support group
May 21 - A cancer support group meets at 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall at Calvary Lutheran Church, at the corner of Oak and Sumner in Aberdeen.
The support group is for patients, families, survivors, caregivers and those wanting to talk, listen, learn and find hope.
The group meets every Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m.

GH Coalition for Infrastructure
May 21 - The next meeting will be held between 6 and 7 p.m. at the Furford Gathering Center (behind former Baskin Robins), 104 S Chehalis St., in Aberdeen.
Art Journaling group
May 23 - An art journaling group meets from 10 a.m. to noon on the second and fourth Saturday each month at the South Beach Arts Center at 188 W. Ocean Ave.
The group is open to everyone with no obligation to attend each month. Just pay $7 each session. All share resources, techniques, tips, and tricks.

Library closed
May 25 - All Timberland libraries will be closed Monday, May 25, for the Memorial Day holiday. Libraries will resume regular schedules Tuesday, May 26.
American Legion
May 26 - Westport American Legion Post #140 and its Ladies Auxiliary will meet in the VFW Youth Center for a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. meeting. The Youth Center is located behind the VFW Post Home at 211 E. Pacific Ave. in Westport.
Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month February through November.
GH League of Women Voters
May 27 - The Grays Harbor League of Women Voters will meet at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 723 Eklund Avenue, in Hoquiam.
The League meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
VFW Men’s Auxiliary
June 1 - Westport South Beach VFW Post #3057 Men’s Auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m. in the VFW Post Home in Westport.
All Men’s Auxiliary members are encouraged to attend.
The group meets the first Monday of each month.
Parks & Rec meeting
June 1 - South Beach Parks & Recreation District commission members will meet at 6 p.m. at the Grayland Community Hall on Monday, Jun1. This is a day earlier than regularly scheduled meetings. The District owns and manages the Grayland Community Hall and its surrounding grounds.
All community members residing within the boundaries of the Ocosta School District are automatically members of the Parks & Recreation District. Public attendance at meetings, participation and suggestions are encouraged and welcomed.
The commissioners meet the first Tuesday of each month.
Ocosta Booster Club
June 2 - DATE CHANGE! The Ocosta Booster Club monthly meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the Ocosta High School library. All South Beach citizens interested in our schools are invited to attend.
The booster club provides financial support for athletic and academic programs, sports banquets, individual camps, state competitions, sports equipment and scholarships for students at Ocosta Jr/Sr High.
The club meets the first Monday of each month.
GH Corvette meeting
June 2 - The next Grays Harbor Corvette Club meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. upstairs in the Aberdeen Top Foods meeting area.
All Corvette owners are welcome and encouraged to attend. The club meets the first Tuesday of each month.

SBCO Board meeting
June 2 - The monthly South Beach Christian Outreach (SBCO) board meeting is held at 3:30 p.m. at Living Hope Church, located at 617 S. Forrest St. in uptown Westport.
Anyone interested in learning more about how SBCO helps neighbors in need in our community or volunteering to help is welcome to attend. The organization is currently looking for two new board members. The board meets the first Tuesday of each month. Elections are in June.
Outreach Spaghetti Dinner
June 2 - South Beach Christian Outreach (SBCO) will offer a fundraising spaghetti dinner at Living Hope Church, located at 617 S. Forrest St. in uptown Westport.
The menu includes spaghetti with meat sauce, salad and bread. Dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
A $5 donation is requested to help defray the cost of your meal and to help neighbors in need on the South Beach.
These spaghetti fundraisers are offered the first Tuesday of each month.
Lodging Tax Committee meeting
June 3 - The regularly scheduled meeting of the City of Westport Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Westport City Council Chambers at 506 N. Montesano St.
The committee studies options and considers submitted proposals for using the 5% excise taxes collected in the city each year that are earmarked for tourism promotion, and then makes recommendations to the City Council for specific expenditures approval.
The meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month. The public is welcome to attend the meetings.
Grayland Neighborhood Watch
June 4 - Members of Grayland Neighborhood Watch and all other interested South Beach citizens will meet at 7 p.m. at the Grayland Fire Hall this month. New GH County Sheriff’s Office resident deputies will be introduced. All South Beach citizens are invited to attend.

Grays Harbor Dems
June 4 - The Grays Harbor Democratic Party Club will meet at 7 p.m. at the Polish Club, 823 West First Street, Aberdeen. The group meets the first Thursday of each month except on holidays.
Best Friends Day
June 6 - “Best Friends Day” activities start in Westport’s Marina District at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. A celebration of dogs, the day’s activities will include a dog jog, a beach romp, a Facebook photo contest, a pet parade, games and prizes. Pet products vendors will also be on site.
PSA Ocean Anglers
June 6 - PSA Ocean Anglers will hold their monthly meeting Saturday at 6 p.m. at McCausland Hall in Westport’s Marina District. Guest speaker Greg Mueller of the WTA will speak on pressure bleeding salmon and lure and color choices for early Chinook. All are welcome. More info: 425- 328-8558

Pacific County Dems meet
June 8 - Pacific County Democrats will meet at 7 p.m. at the Pacific County Courthouse Annex, 1216 W. Robert Bush Drive in South Bend.

N. Pacific County Watch
June 9 - The North Pacific County Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held in the Shoalwater Bay Tribal meeting room starting at 6 p.m. All are welcome.

Grayland Children’s Hospital Guild
