Eleven students will graduate from Ocosta High School on June 10th with Honors. Those students will wear silver cords at the ceremony. Class of 2016 Honor grads include Chaska Croy, Chelsea Griffin, Marsha Poulsen, Matthew Clark, Peter Samuelson, Rachael Saul, Shelby Henry, Kelsey Gundersen, Elizabeth Allton, Allison Reuterdahl and Kyle Bambauer.
Honor graduates must have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.2 thorough the first term of their senior year.
Chaska Croy has a 3.705 GPA. She is the daughter of Albert Croy of Grayland. Chaska plans to attend GHC to major in graphic arts.
Chelsea Griffin has a 3.602 GPA. She is the daughter of Nicole Anderson of Ocosta. Chelsea plans to attend GHC.
Marsha Poulsen has a 3.535 GPA. She is the daughter of Tony Poulsen and Norma Ayojiak of Tokeland. Chelsea plans to attend the GHC Nursing program.
Matthew Clark has a 3.439 GPA. He is the son of Gary and Dayna Clark of Westport. Matt plans to attend WSU to major in biology.
Peter Samuelson has a 3.427 GPA. He is the son of Eric and Becky Samuelson of Westport. Pete plans to attend WSU to major in civil engineering.
Rachael Saul has a 3.373 GPA. She is the daughter of Brian and Deborah Saul of Ocosta. Rachael plans to attend the GHC for vocational studies.
Shelby Henry has a 2.334 GPA. She is the daughter of Kurt and Robin Henry of Westport. Shelby plans to attend WWU with a major in physics and a minor in Astronomy.
Kelsey Gundersen has a 3.266 PGA. She is the daughter of Helen Gundersen of Tokeland. Kelsey plans to attend CWU to Major in Secondary health and fitness education.
Elizabeth Allton has a 3.259 GPA. She is the daughter of Mike and Carrie Allton of Westport. Liz plans to attend GHC with a major in hospitality.
Allison Reuterdahl has a 3.259 GPA. She is the daughter of Tara Larrance and James Reuterdahl of Grayland. Allison plans to attend WWU to major in art education.
Kyle Bambauer has a 3.210 GPA. He is the son of Richard and Kim Bambauer of Westport. Kyle plans to attend St. Martin’s to major in mechanical engineering.
