Child Find is an educational screening of a child residing in the state, including:
• Children with disabilities who are homeless
• Children who are wards of the State
• Children attending private schools, regardless of the severity of their disability
• Children who are suspected of having a disability, or in need of special education and related services.
Disabilities or delays could be in the areas of speech, motor, academic or social skills.
