Three Ocosta High School soccer players signed their Letter of Intent to play soccer at Grays Harbor College. The signing took place on Friday, Jan.15, in the college’s Student Union Building.

Signing their letters were two OHS all-state first team members, Mary Davis and Emily Bjornsgard. Joining them will be defender Corrina Perry.

Davis, a forward, was Ocosta’s second all-time leading scorer and school record holder for career and season game winning goals. She had been recruited by four different community colleges.

Bjornsgard, a goalkeeper, broke the school record for shutouts by a senior.

The three will join a Chokers program that has been in existence for the past two seasons. Chris Schumacher, formerly coach of the Elma Eagle girls soccer team, coaches the GHC team.
