On Feb. 7, the Washington State House of Representatives passed Resolution 4650 honoring the 2015 OHS Girls Cross Country team.

The team made history at Pasco on Saturday, Nov. 7, by winning the 1B/2B State Championship. They are the first Ocosta girls team to win a state title in school history and the second team to win a state title, following in the footsteps of the 1971 OHS Boys Basketball.

Representatives Brian Blake and JD Rossetti jointly sponsored the Resolution.

The team traveled to Olympia on Feb. 12. They observed the Legislature in action, took a tour of the capitol and then, at a private meeting, were treated to refreshments and presented with the printed Resolution by Senator Dean Takko and Representative JD Rossetti.
