Sportfishing club in Westport

Puget Sound Anglers (PSA) is seeking interest in forming a new chapter in Westport.

PSA currently consists of 13 chapters in Western Washington with more than 9,000 members. PSA is non-profit.

This would be a fun-based chapter with a focus on anglers who fish in the ocean and are interested in issues that affect the ocean fishery.

Club meetings will feature interesting speakers who would provide information to the recreational angler on how to catch more and bigger fish.

This meeting will be held at Half Moon Bay Bar & Grill in Westport, this Saturday, Oct. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. This get-together is to gauge interest in forming a new PSA Chapter; PSA Ocean Anglers.

Anyone interested in seeing a new fishing club in Westport is encouraged to attend.
