The South Beach Youth Soccer Club’s U11 Ocosta Wildcats finished second in the state after competing in the 2015 State Boys U11 Youth Soccer Title Tournament last Saturday, Dec. 12, at Starfire Complex in Tukwila.

The team entered the tournament with a 13-0 season record. With just four teams in the running, the Wildcats beat a Snoqualmie Valley team in their semifinals match 5-1 Saturday morning, before falling to a West Seattle team 3-0 in the finals later that afternoon.

According to South Beach Youth Soccer Club founder Mike King, this is the best any team has done in the club’s 30-year history.
