Everett resident Pat Hartmann landed this 28.75 lb. Chinook salmon on July 2, the second day of this year’s recreational salmon season. As we went to press, she still remains the season leader in the Westport Charterboat Association’s 2016 Salmon Derby.
Correction
Last week’s issue of the South Beach Bulletin erroneously reported that Puyallup resident Kayla Wright was the season leader with her 25.80 lb. catch. She was, in fact, the July 22 Daily Salmon Derby winner.
