Do you feel the President has your safety as his first priority? If he does, then it’s certainly not obvious to the most casual observer. What about Congress - Republicans, Independents and Democrats? Do they have our families’ safety as a priority?
The Omnibus Bill just passed by Congress and signed by the President enhances the chance that our country will continue to be attacked by radical Islamists. Congress and the President knowingly left town for a two-week vacation without implementing provisions to assure that radical Islamists cannot enter our country to kill us.
But wait…our President believes the slaughter that has, is, and will continue to take place in our country is nothing more than gun violence because of weak gun control.
So, the President and the majority of Congress (including our two senators, and Representative Jamie Herrera) are being politically correct by allowing anyone into our country, while providing them transportation and living expenses as authorized by the Omnibus Bill.
The President and other political leaders want more gun control (code name for taking our guns away) so only the political class will have guns, and those who want to kill us.
This Omnibus spending bill continues the crony capitalistic system that has been in place for decades. It assures our deficit spending until we elect new representatives that have the courage to say no more.
I’m praying for a better future in 2016 for our children and grandchildren, when we have the constitutional right to replace our current representatives with responsible persons who have as their first priority the protection of the citizens of this country and our Constitution.
