November 28, 2015 - Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Christina lived the way she wished. She was an artist, a twin, adventurer, little sister, designer, friend, builder, lover of dogs, Master Gardener, educator, friend, skier, lover of men, chef, a Baha’i, and a student of life.
Christina passed away on November 28th, just before her 67th birthday, after conquering her latest adventure and dream of moving to Costa Rica. She thrived in Manuel Antonio, enjoying the weather and beaches and made many new friends.
Christina lived a full life, earning a degree in Education from Western Washington University where she made life-long friends and joined Delta Gamma Sorority. Christina taught in Switzerland, on a Navajo reservation in Kayenta, Arizona and was teaching English in Costa Rica at the time of her death.
Christina was a businesswoman. She was a licensed real estate agent and purchased and improved many properties of her own throughout her life. Christina married twice. She moved to Grayland in 2006 where she was a supportive, active great aunt to Kurt and Kyle Bambauer and aunt to Kim Bambauer of Westport.
She immersed herself into the Grays Harbor community, volunteering at the Westport Maritime Museum and Kinnikinnick Garden Club. She was a member of the Aberdeen Baha’i Community.
Christina will be greatly missed by her older sister, Ellen Price of Fresno, her twin sister Dina Trapp of Aberdeen, as well as many other family members and friends.
There will be a Time of Remembering of Christina at the home of Sandy and Mery Swanson at 301 North H Street in Aberdeen, Sunday, Jan. 17, at 1:00 p.m.
