9:30 a.m. – 700 Block N. Forrest. Subject allowed to reside in residence temporarily refuses to now move out. Officer advised property owner to start eviction process.

10:23 a.m. – 200 Block E. Harbor. Custody issue. Father reported that mother of 3-year-old child they have in common was given by girlfriend to her father to stay with him in Aberdeen area. Mother stated that she wanted child with her father while she and boyfriend work out a parenting plan. Civil issue.

10:50 a.m. – 700 Block N. Forrest. Resident from 9:30 a.m. call regarding a request that he move out of residence. He stated that when told to move, he replied that he would be out by the end of the month. Then requesting party followed him to the drug store and watched him. Officer advised that complaining party seek a No Contact Order if he feels threatened.

12:17 p.m. – 1400 Block S. Forrest. Traffic Accident. Reporting party rear-ended. Two vehicle, non-reportable. Information exchanged.

12:46 p.m. – 1300 Block South Shore. 911 Hang Up. No answer on call back.

8:37 a.m. – 600 Block W. Sprague. Burglary. HP laptop taken from unlocked vehicle in garage.

1:30 p.m. – WPD. Welfare Check. Reporting party requested check on his 79-year-old brother who he thinks lives in travel trailer in Westport area. Hasn’t heard from him in a year. Advised reporting party there is no information on brother in system.

6:15 p.m. – W. Pacific & N. 2nd. Traffic. Report of needles in roadway. Officer discovered they were actually colored pencils. Cleared them from roadway.

12:17 a.m. – Dune Haven & Surf. Animal. Dog off its chain startled cyclist who fell off his bicycle. Male unharmed. No damage to bike. Officer followed dog home and contacted owner.

12:17 a.m. – 1800 N. Nyhus. Lost Property. Brown bi-fold wallet lost sometime in last 24 hours near Float 17.

8:41 p.m. – 100 Block E. Harms – Westport Timberland Library. Suspicious Vehicle. Crime Watch received call about suspicious vehicle in parking lot. No criminal activity evident.

9:40 p.m. – 600 N. Broadway. Suspicious Vehicle. Trunk open, vehicle unoccupied. Officer contacted registered owner who advised accidentally left open. No criminal activity.

9:42 p.m. – Chehalis & Forrest. Traffic. Report of recklessly driven vehicle coming into city. Officer checked area with negative results.

10:25 p.m. – 400 Block W. Seattle. Public Assist. Extra patrols around elderly female’s residence requested by caregiver due to recent problems around property.

2:14 a.m. – 2400 Block N. Nyhus. Non-criminal Domestic Difficulty. Officer dispatched to adult male and female verbally arguing. Officer determined non-criminal.

10:21 a.m. – 500 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: No Vehicle Operator’s License/No Proof of Insurance.

11:24 a.m. – 300 Block Harbor. Civil matter over contracts. Report will be forwarded to City Prosecutor.

7:25 p.m. – 900 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Improper Lane Usage.

10:38 p.m. – SR105 & Grange. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Deputy requested assistance with combative/aggressive subject who was interfering with traffic stop.

9:26 a.m. – 200 Block E. Patterson. Traffic Stop: Speeding/No Seatbelt

2:04 p.m. – 200 Block E. Harbor. Agency Assist for DSHS/CPS regarding neglect case.

2:30 p.m. – 200 Block E. Harbor. Domestic Difficulty. Dispatched to verbal dispute between male and female. Statement taken from male. Unable to contact female. Report to follow.

4:57 p.m. – 1800 N. Nyhus. Lost Property. Male subject inquiring if lost wallet had been turned in to WPD.

7:06 p.m. – 100 Block S. Montesano. Non-criminal Domestic Difficulty. Report of male and female screaming at each other. Report filed.

8:30 p.m. – 500 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Driving While License Suspended.

8:47 p.m. – 200 Block E. Wilson. Traffic Stop. Report filed.

10:33 p.m. – GAR Baseball Field. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle unoccupied. Nothing out of place. No one around.

11:20 p.m. – Ocean & Forrest. Pedestrian Contact. Officer contacted three males walking on roadway. Advised to walk on shoulder.

12:22 a.m. – Broadway & Pacific. Traffic Stop: Defective Headlight.

12:22 a.m. – Broadway & Pacific. Pedestrian Contact. Officer contacted male walking alongside wrong side of street. Advised him to walk against flow of traffic.

1:30 a.m. – 300 Block N. 2nd. Animal at Large. Three dogs running loose. Officer recognized them, herded them home.

1:44 a.m. – 900 Block N. 2nd. Suspicious Persons. Male and female cutting through someone’s yard. Officer informed them they needed to use the road or have written permission to use someone’s yard.

2:17 a.m. – Park & Montesano. Traffic Stop. Officer contacted driver of vehicle with headlights and taillights barely visible. Driver advised alternator belt had broken. Pushed vehicle out of roadway. Advised day shift vehicle would be moved in 24 hours.

3:16 a.m. – Float 9. Traffic Stop: Defective Tail Light.

3:35 a.m. – Jetty Haul. Suspicious Person. Officer contacted elderly male in park after hours. Male advised he was going to walk trail. Officer advised him of park hours.

4:30 a.m. – 1600 S. Forrest. Agency Assist for GHCSO/Prowler. Officer checked area with reporting party, unable to locate prowler. Appears to be mental health problem. Officer later contacted family who advised they were moving to location to assist reporting party.

6:53 a.m. – 1600 Block S. Forrest. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Possible trespassing on residential property.

8:10 a.m. – 400 Block W. Ocean. Public Assist. House lockout. Initially called locksmith but neighbor had key.

8:17 a.m. – 100 Block S. Hoquiam. Found Property. Citizen found purse and other items that appear to be from unreported vehicle prowl. Items returned to owner. Advised to call if they want to report prowl.

10:26 a.m. – E. Pacific. Theft. Report of purse theft from Senior House on Jan. 9. Report filed.

11:51 a.m. – WPD. Malicious Mischief. Report of tires being punctured at two locations. Reports filed.

12:17 p.m. – 1200 Block Johnson. Vehicle Prowl. Door left unlocked. No damage. Nothing taken. Extra patrols requested.

1:49 p.m. – Sprague & Central. Suspicious Person. Report of suspicious male diving in to bushes when reporting party noticed him, then running toward city watershed. Officer checked area with negative results.

2:13 p.m. – 700 Block N. Central. Assault. Report filed on assault on adult female and male child.

3:25 p.m. – Dock & Westhaven. Vehicle Prowl. Cash and cigarettes taken. Report filed.

6:14 p.m. – 1300 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Improper Parking.

6:26 p.m. – 500 Block N. Montesano. Traffic Stop: Inoperative License Plate Light.

6:42 p.m. – 300 Block S. Forrest. Traffic Stop: Inoperative License Plate Light.

7:07 p.m. – N. Montesano & W. Sprague. Traffic Stop: Following Too Close.

10:03 p.m. – 100 Block E. Harms. Suspicious Vehicle. Contact made with male subject who had Aberdeen Municipal Court Warrant for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. Subject indicated he was having a heart attack. SBEMS responded. Took subject to GHCH.

10:11 p.m. – Cove & Westhaven. Officer contacted Street Department supervisor regarding his request to call him out if overtopping occurs.

10:51 p.m. – Coast Guard Tower. Suspicious Vehicle. Officer contacted occupants of two vehicles who were camping. Gave options for places they could sleep.

11:48 p.m. – 400 Block E. Dock. Traffic Accident. Vehicle collided with building. Cause of collision determined to be seizure. Driver transported to GHCH.

2:15 a.m. – 300 Block N. Montesano. Suspicious Vehicle. Brake lights on vehicle in parking lot. Nobody around. Appears to have been there a while. Believed to be defective equipment.

5:27 a.m. – Westhaven & Cove. Traffic Hazard. Called Street Department for overtopping water on roadway.

11:10 a.m. – 200 Block N. Forrest. Reporting party captured a feral cat. Advised to contact HAVA or wait for Animal Control Officer contact on Friday.

2:34 p.m. – 1500 Block W. Ocean. Traffic Stop: Speeding – 38/20-mph zone.

3:03 p.m. – 200 Block N. Montesano. Found property – Bicycle. Not reported stolen. Stored at Public Works Department.

10:35 p.m. – Chamber of Commerce lot at ‘Y’. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Suspicious Activity: Vehicle in lot. Operator advised that vehicle was broken down. Officer assisted with getting help via phone.

11:55 p.m. – Westport Aquarium – Harbor Ave. Open Door. Officer searched inside with negative results. Contacted owner upstairs. No problem found. Owner secured door.
