12:37 a.m. - 200 Block N. Olympia. Suspicious Vehicle. 2007 Toyota parked, unoccupied. Driver arrived on scene prior to South Beach Towing arrival. Driver advised his friend told him that he could park there. Driver educated on where he could legally park. Cited for illegally parking on roadway.
3:04 a.m. - Newell & Johnson. Suspicious Person. Officer contacted male skateboarding in roadway, advised heading to friends. No wants.
3:37 a.m. - 1700 Block N. Nyhus. Warrant. Coast Guard out with male who has outstanding warrants from GH County. County not confirming on gross misdemeanors.
6:12 p.m. - 1400 Block S. Melbourne. Landlord/Tenant. Trespassing incident. Civil issue. Reporting party advised to have tenant evicted.
9:20 p.m. - 600 Block S. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Defective License Plate Light.
10:35 p.m. - 600 Block S. Olympia. Disturbance/Loud Music. Officer checked area with negative results.

2:40 a.m. - 300 Block S. Montesano. Trespass/Prowler. Homeowner reported chasing off male in red truck and another male on bike with trailer. Officer checked known areas where possible suspects tend to hang out with negative results. Reporting party unsure if any items taken. Extra patrols requested.
5:26 a.m. - Marina Dstrict Business Alarm. Accidental activation by employee.
8:05 a.m. - 300 Block E. Dock. Suspicious Person. Reporting party could see sleeping bag on seawall, unknown if someone sleeping in it. Officer contacted female subject who advised she missed the bus last night.
12:51 p.m. - 800 Block S. Montesano. Landlord/Tenant. Reporting party gave notice to male to move out, but he is refusing. Officer advised her to contact attorney to start eviction process.
2:00 p.m. - 900 Block S. Forrest. Welfare Check. Reporting party has not heard from his uncle in past month. Subject OK, having phone problems.
3:16 p.m. - 200 Block W. Wilson. GH County requesting Registered Sex Offender check. Address confirmed. Paperwork forwarded to county.
3:49 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Report of Order Violation but not in progress. Officer collected written statements that will be forwarded to City Prosecutor.
5:11 p.m. - S. Montesano & Maple. Verbal Warning: License Plate Not a Current Record.

11:41 a.m. - 800 Block W. Veterans. Burglary with forced entry in shed of vacation home. Homeowner not at location. Neighbors do not have contact number or name.
12:57 p.m. - 100 Block Lighthouse. Animal. Report of dog howling and being left out in rain. Case forwarded to Animal Control.
4:52 p.m. - 800 Block N. Montesano. 911 Open Line. Busy on recall. Officer checked area with negative results.
6:15 p.m. - 400 Block W. Newell. Traffic Accident. Driver turned too soon for driveway. Friend backed vehicle out with four-wheel drive. No injuries, non-reportable.
6:46 p.m. - 1600 Block Ocean. 911 Open Line. Pocket noises heard. Voicemail on recall. Officer checked area with negative results.
10:12 p.m. - 1600 Block N. Montesano. Suspicious Person. Employee not comfortable with male subject being around. Male refused to leave store. Subject gone on officer’s arrival. Officer escorted employee to vehicle.
10:24 p.m. - N. Montesano & Elizabeth. Warrant. Subject riding against traffic on bicycle, returned with felony DOC warrant. Warrant confirmed. Subject transported to Hoquiam Jail.

5:58 a.m. - 1500 Block S. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Improper Lane Usage.
6:08 a.m. - 900 Block S. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Driver of 2005 Hyundai stopped in relation to attempt to locate felony warrant suspect. Suspect not located in vehicle.
No time given. 1200 Block S. Montesano. Animal. Reporting party asking where his dog was taken into custody. Officer attempted to call and advise him dog was taken to Blue Cross Veterinary. No answer.
7:42 p.m. - 400 Block W. Pacific. Harassment. Officer advised complainant to seek anti-harassment order.

9:20 a.m. - Newell & Broadway. Complaint of male subject wearing bandana over his face, carrying a rifle. Officer checked area with negative results.
3:10 p.m. - 300 Block N. Forrest. Trespass. Complainant requested check of his father-in-law’s residence for trespassers. Officer checked area with negative results.

12:37 a.m. - 1400 Block 1st. Suspicious Vehicle. Report of vehicle pulling into reporting party’s driveway then leaving rapidly, possibly now at neighbor’s residence. Officer contacted vehicle occupants who reported GPS foul up had taken them down wrong street.
1:03 a.m. - 2500 Block N. Nyhus. Suspicious Person. Officer contacted male subject hanging around public restrooms. Subject had outstanding warrant that was confirmed. Subject transported to GHC Jail.
9:03 a.m. - 200 Block E. Dock. Verbal Warning: Speeding- 40/30-mph zone.
9:23 a.m. - 800 Block E. Neddie Rose. Burglary. Officer dispatched to cold burglary. Items taken through unsecured window. Report taken.
10:11 a.m. - Westhaven State Park. Verbal Warning: Expired Registration.
11:40 a.m. - 100 Block W. Park. Civil. Reporting party had questions regarding neighbor’s construction company’s trailer parked on his property without permission. Officer advised of options.
1:47 p.m. - 700 Block N. Forrest. Verbal Warning: Expired Registration.
4:16 p.m. - Float 6. Animal Cruelty/Vehicle Prowl. Reporting party advised while he was away someone came onto boat and killed his pet bird of 20 years. It is believed to be an act of retaliation against the boat owner, however the bird owner was only watching the vessel for the owner. Suspect identified. Investigation ongoing.
4:07 p.m. - Beach North of Ocean Ave. Condos. Suspicious Persons. Report of two pickup trucks with males digging in sand and shooting guns. Officers contacted males and found air soft guns. Male subjects advised they could not shoot any projectile weapons on State Park property.
5:49 p.m. - N. Montesano & W. Spokane. Report of red Ford Explorer swerving on roadway. Officer contacted driver. Not as reported.
6:32 p.m. - 100 Block N. Lighthouse. Animal. Report of ongoing problem with dog howling/barking. Officer contacted owner to quiet dog. Owner agreed.
9:22 p.m. - Westhaven State Park. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle in park after dusk. Driver advised he was waiting for a friend. Officer advised driver to leave as soon as possible.
9:24 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Non-criminal Domestic Difficulty. Report of verbal argument. Husband and wife arguing over van. No assault or threats occurred. Both parties agreed to be civil.

12:26 a.m. - 600 Block N. Montesano. Suspicious Vehicle. White Pontiac Montana backed up to business with back hatch open. Lawnmower, leaf blower and other landscaping tools in vehicle. No one around. Officer checked business. All windows and doors secure. Unable to secure van.
10:10 a.m. - WPD. Reporting party wanted contact concerning sexual offense on child that took place in Longview. Advised to contact Longview PD.
10:12 a.m. - 300 Block S. Forrest. Theft. Report taken concerning theft from motorhome exterior.
11:06 a.m. – WPD. Warrant confirmation for Cosmopolis P.D.
11:19 a.m. – 300 Block Barney. Residential Alarm. No signs of forced entry. All doors secure. Homeowner advised.
1:40 p.m. – Anchor Bank – 900 Block N. Montesano. Report that American flag was loose from pole and touching ground. Officer collected flag for safekeeping at WPD.
3:49 p.m. – 300 Block S. Forrest. Verbal Warning: Failure to Stop at Stop Sign.
6:12 p.m. – WPD. Report of a stolen phone SIM card. Statement filed.
6:26 p.m. – 700 Block S. Melbourne. Theft. Gas siphoned from two vehicles. Extra patrols requested.
7:48 p.m. – 1800 Block N. Nyhus. Business fire alarm. Fire Department personnel located source of alarm and determined no problem.
9:04 p.m. – 100 Block W. Ocean. Assault/Fight. One party on scene on officer’s arrival. Declined to press charges or file statement. Officer unable to locate other participant.
11:55 p.m. – Westport ‘Y’ business. Agency Assist for GHCSO. Report of male and female lingering in area while business was closing, then left traveling north on Montesano. Officer contacted occupants of vehicle in 600 Block E. Elizabeth. They stated that they were waiting for a friend who didn’t arrive. No wants, no warrants.
