5:42 a.m. - S. Montesano & Park. Verbal Warnings for Speeding - 44/35-mph zone and Defective License Plate Light.

6:30 a.m. - E. Wilson & Yearout. Correction Notice for Expired Vehicle Registration.

9:02 a.m. – Dunehaven & Sandcastle. Littering. Reporting party located abandoned trailer of garbage. Search of trailer and contents did not reveal any suspect information.

10:59 a.m. - WPD. Call in reference to person making threats on Facebook.

1:18 p.m. - 1200 Block Driftwood. Vehicle Prowl. Reporting party advised some time over Christmas holiday unknown suspects took GPS, change, cash and prescription pill bottles from daughter’s Jeep.

3:19 p.m.- WPD. Reporting party stated she received a letter in the mail to contact WPD. When asked who sent the letter or what it said, she advised she didn’t have the letter. Will call back tomorrow when she finds the letter.

4:19 p.m. - WPD. Dogs at large. Officer checked area with negative results. Report forwarded to Animal Control.

7:26 p.m. - 900 Block N. Forrest. Verbal Warning: Defective License Plate Light.

8:54 p.m. - 200 Block E. Wilson - Holand Center RV Park. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550. Expired Registration. Fine: $216. Failure to Transfer Title Within 45 Days. Mandatory Court Appearance. Verbal Warning: Defective Lighting Equipment.

1:34 a.m. - 200 Block E. Dock - Knotty Pine Tavern. Trespass. Reporting party stated two customers refused to leave and were harassing customers. When officer arrived, both subjects had left. Officer located subjects in Mermaid Bar parking lot and advised they were no longer welcome at Knotty Pine. Courtesy transport provided to American Sunset RV Park.

6:18 a.m. - Nyhus & Harbor. Verbal Warnings: Defective License Plate Light and Expired Registration.

9:22 a.m. - 100 Block W. Seattle. Suspicious Vehicle. Report of vehicle pulling into driveway, female exiting and running in direction of Montesano Street. Officer unable to locate female. Registered owner advised daughter was in possession of car. He will contact daughter and determine if there is a problem.

9:30 a.m. - 700 Block S. Montesano. Custody Issue. Dispute between male and female. No parenting plan on file. Subjects advised they will be going to court Jan. 5. Father agreed to let children go with mother.

9:36 p.m. - 800 Block N. Forrest. Citation: Driving While License Suspended/Revoked 1st Degree. Mandatory Court Appearance. Verbal Warning: Inoperative License Plate Light.

3:47 a.m. - E. Tacoma & N. Montesano. Citation: Driving While License Suspended Revoked 1st Degree. Mandatory Court Appearance. Verbal Warning: Failure to Signal Within 100 feet of Turn.

6:28 a.m. - S. Forrest & W. Ocean. Verbal Warning: Stop Sign Violation.

6:55 a.m. - 800 Block N. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Inoperative Vehicle Lighting Equipment.

9:00 a.m. - 200 Block N. Forrest. Suspicious Activity. Reporting party watching house for owner, has keys but they would not work. Suspected someone was inside. Officer checked house with negative results. Determined key would not work because locks were inoperative due to freezing temperatures.

3:43 p.m. - 600 Block W. Hunley. Harassment. Reporting party requested information on getting restraining order for male subject who keeps coming over and insulting her in front of her children. Officer provided information and advised female to contact WPD again if male returns.

4:19 p.m. - 1400 Block South Shore. Theft. Complainant reported 20 gallons of gas missing from her vehicle between Saturday and Sunday evening. Extra patrols requested.

5:22 p.m. - Nyhus & Dock. Verbal Warnings: Defective Tail Light and Defective License Plate Light.

5:36 p.m. - WPD. Public Assist. Officer provided information about legal discharge of fireworks on New Year’s.

5:37 p.m. - 200 Block E. Wilson - Holand Center RV Park. Verbal Warning: Defective Tail Lights.

6:35 p.m. - S. Montesano & Pine. Citation: Speeding - 45/35-mph zone. Fine: $124. Verbal Warning: Defective License Plate Light.

8:46 p.m. - 100 Block W. Pacific. Verbal Warning: Defective License Plate Light and Tail Light.

9:08 p.m. - N. Montesano & Tacoma. Verbal Warning: Defective License Plate Light.

12:16 a.m. - S. Montesano & View Ridge. Verbal Warning: Expired Registration.

12:17 a.m. - N. Montesano & E. Spokane. Verbal Warning: Improper Lane Usage.

12:36 a.m. - 1200 Block W. Lila. Trespass. Officer observed male and female walking in housing area signed No Trespassing. Both parties identified and advised of private property. Subjects left voluntarily.

1:05 a.m. - Broadway & Seattle. Alarm. Officers heard alarm for approximately 5 seconds. Officers checked area with negative results.

3:07 a.m. - GAR Baseball Field. Suspicious Vehicle. Unoccupied, secure vehicle discovered in parking lot. No subjects nor registered owner in area.

4:29 a.m. - 1800 Block S. Melbourne. Animal Neglect/Agency Assist for GHCSO. Officer determined situation was verbal argument between intoxicated male and soon to be ex-girlfriend. All animals on scene found in good health and had not been abused.

7:13 a.m. - 300 Block S. Montesano. Harassment. Complainant reported harassment by male and female who were mad at her for not giving them money to go gambling. Officer advised caller to contact 911 if she had more problems.

1:33 p.m. - WPD. Agency Assist for Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Restraining Order confirmation. Order confirmed. Subject taken into custody on violation of order.

3:33 p.m. - 100 Block N. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Expired Tabs.

5:42 p.m. - 300 Block S. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Inoperative Driver’s Side Headlamp.

5:53 p.m. - 800 Block N. Montesano - Post Office parking lot. Found property. Concerned citizen turned in black hooded sweatshirt, tan jacket and brown bi-fold wallet with identification, debit and credit cards found on beach in Grayland area. Logged into Lost & Found.

6:02 p.m. - 800 Block N. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Inoperative License Plate Light.

6:27 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific - South Bayview Apartments. Suspicious Vehicle. Vehicle parked at location, unoccupied for past three days. Listed owner not known to reside in area. Follow up contact to be conducted with apartment management.

6:38 p.m. - 300 Block S. Montesano. Verbal Warning: Inoperative Driver’s Side Tail Lamp.

12:19 a.m. - 900 Block S. Montesano. Welfare Check. Reporting party advised her adult son with mental health issues, including bi-polar and schizophrenia, left home between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Jan. 1 and never returned. Attempt to Locate broadcast east and west with son’s description. Officers checked area with negative results.

5:09 a.m. - Motorist Assist. Disabled vehicle on side of road, not blocking traffic. Driver advised his brother enroute to help him.

7:13 a.m. - WPD. Follow-up on Welfare Check. Mother called to advise adult son returned home.

4:05 p.m. - 200 Block N. 2nd. Traffic Accident. Vehicle vs. house collision. Reporting party stated driver, his son, was suicidal. Officer spoke with son who appeared highly intoxicated. Son stated accident happened “hours ago” and denied driving intoxicated. No witnesses to accident. No probable cause to prove driver’s intoxication at time of collision and driver denied any suicidal thoughts or threats. Accident occurred on private property and did not involve any other party or injuries. Officer cleared scene.

6:15 p.m. - 2400 Block Westhaven - Float 10. Public Assist. Extra patrols requested for area. Reporting party and several other fishermen found holes punched in their vehicles’ tanks/valves and gas removed.

10:40 p.m. - 200 Block S. Aberdeen. Public Assist. Officer returned phone call to female inquiring if court order had been served on male subject she had filed with the court. Check revealed no court orders had been served. Officer unable to re-contact female. Left voice mail.

11:49 p.m. - 200 Block E. Dock - Knotty Pine Tavern. Assault/Disorderly Conduct/Malicious Mischief/Trespass. Report of intoxicated male, disorderly and refusing to leave after being told to leave numerous times. Officer made contact with subject who complied by leaving location. Subject returned to tavern, assaulted female then entered Washington Crab, causing malicious mischief, attempting to fight several employees and fled when police ordered him to stop. Male subject taken into custody and booked into GH County Jail.

4:40 a.m. - 1400 Block S. 1st. Animal. Reporting party stated dog barking for days, had left note for owners and problem stopped for a day. Officer could hear barking as he drove into area, then it stopped. No answer at residences in area and no more barking heard. Info passed on to Animal Control.

1:19 p.m. - 100 E. Spokane. Traffic. Vehicle stopped for Registration Expired Nov. 2. 2014. Driver had suspended driver’s license and warrant for his arrest in Hoquiam for Failure to Appear on Suspended Driver’s License charges. Driver arrested on warrant and additionally charged with Driving with Suspended License. Citation: Expired Registration. Vehicle impounded.

3:49 p.m. - Chehalis & Melbourne. Traffic stop for vehicle with plate belonging to registered owner with a suspended driver’s license status. Driver not registered owner.

4:26 p.m. - 500 Block N. Montesano. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550. Expired Tabs. Fine: $216. Failure to Transfer Title in 45 Days: Mandatory Court Appearance.

5:17 p.m. - 1500 Block N. Montesano. Citation: No Proof of Insurance. Fine: $550. Verbal Warning: No Headlights During Hours of Darkness.

5:52 p.m. - 400 Block E. Pacific. Phone Call Request. Reporting party stated she received text from her friend, “You can go die with your terminally ill mother.” She felt it was a threat. Officer advised that although comment was disgusting, it did not specify that her friend was actually going to do anything. Officer advised reporting party to block friend’s number and no longer communicate with “friend.”

8:55 p.m. - S. Montesano & Maple. Citation: Driving While License Suspended. Mandatory Court Appearance. Verbal Warning: Defective License Plate Light.

10:25 p.m. - Barney. Citation: Driving While License Suspended/Revoked 1st Degree. Mandatory Court Appearance.

12:26 a.m. - S. Montesano & Ocosta High School. Suspicious Person. Report of male pushing baby stroller in middle of street. Officer contacted male subject pushing makeshift stroller that contained his property and garbage. No child in stroller. No criminal activity.

2:31 a.m. - Uptown Business Alarm. Activation at front door sensor. All windows and doors secure.

4:08 p.m. – 600 Block Hunley. Harassment. Harassing text messages reported. Officer explained option to block number from phone. Texts did not meet RCW requirements for harassment. Subject stated that she would contact her lawyer.

6:38 p.m. – 600 Block E. Elizabeth. Lost medium female Basenji/Pit mix, red and white in color reported.

7:16 p.m. – 1300 Block S. Forrest. Trespass complaint. Female refused to leave reporting party’s porch. Gone on officer’s arrival. Officer checked area with negative results.

7:53 p.m. – 600 to 800 Block E. Elizabeth. Suspicious female selling deep cleaning services reported. Part of Kirby Vacuum group working in area. Officer located supervisor. Business license checked. All OK.

8:37 p.m. – 300 Block E. Lamb. 911 open line. Rustling sounds and males talking in background. No sounds of problem. Dispatch unable to re-call.
