The Cranberry Jam - A Pleasure Hounds Event, will be held at the Grayland Community Hall this Saturday, Jan, 9, from Noon to 9 p.m. Everyone’s invited and admission is by donation.

The all-afternoon and into-the-night benefit will feature live music, live music and more live music, a great raffle and a terrific auction of new items, themed baskets, goods and services, gift certificates and more.

The goal is to raise funds to help employees of the Cranberry Road Winery & Bog Water Brewing Co. that lost their jobs when the rural Westport business burned to the ground Nov. 24.

As we went to press, featured groups planning to entertain Saturday include organizers, The Pleasure Hounds, along with Blues Solution, Big Blue Van, Unexpected Soul and Friends, Just Us and Friends, Catch of the Day and All In.

A number of other surprise guest artists also are expected to appear, all filling the historic Community Hall with a mix of classic rock and rhythm and blues for your listening and dancing pleasure.

The Grayland Community Hall is located at the corner of Cranberry Road and Grange Road. Turn east off SR105 onto Grange Road and go a country block.
