The article published in the South Beach Bulletin last week from Pacific County Assessor Bruce Walker stated, “If you will be 61 years of age or over on December 31, 2015, and make less than $40,000 adjusted gross income, please bring in your 2014 proof of income to our office.”
It should have said, “…and make less than $40,000; which includes adjusted gross income, plus any Social Security or other untaxable income.”
Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 .pm. Monday through Friday at our main office in the courthouse in South Bend and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday at our office at the South County building at 7013 Sandridge Road.
