ABERDEEN— Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI) recently announced that Bryan and Son Jewelers in Aberdeen has been selected as the organization’s Business of the Month for July.

The jewelry store has been in operation in Aberdeen for 66 years, and a member of GGHI for the past 20 years.

In the last year, Bryan & Son has supported United Way, local schools, Salvation Army, Union Gospel Mission, Foodball, youth sports, Scouts, food and clothing banks, Relay for Life and Habitat for Humanity.

Employees of Bryan & Son take part in service organizations — Elks, Eagles and the Moose Lodge.

“Bryan and Son Jewelers has been a member for 20 years, and has demonstrated a great commitment to the community,” said Lorna White, Ambassador Chair. “We wanted to recognize the quality of their commitment, and their business.”

When asked why Greater Grays Harbor was important to his business, owner Brent Bryan said, “Over the last 20 years our company has been able to donate time and gift packages to promote growth to the community, and our business.”

The Business of the Month is based on excellence in image, employee relations, community service, support of Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. and customer service. Only 12 awards are made each year and recipients are chosen from about 500 members.
