Parts still available for Grayland Players’ “Carnival”

The Grayland Players still need actors, singers and whatever-you-can doers for their spring musical, the Broadway hit, “Carnival.”

Performance dates are May 6,7,8 and 13, 14, 15.

Rehearsals are due to begin, but not all parts are cast. If you would like to be part of a fun, adventurous troupe, please contact Director Carolyn Barker at 360- 267-6532 or 360- 580-1803.

There will be several side show acts in the play. Come show off your talents. Many children can perform for mom and dad in the Big Ring.

Parts still needing to be filled include Marco The Magnificent, a magician - male age 17 to 35; Grobert the souvenir vendor - age 20 to 50, a smaller role but very impressive; Jacquot, the puppet master’s assistant - age 20 to 50.

More parts are also available for the ensemble, including roustabouts that carry on the constructing of the carnival on stage as a part of the play, gypsies, acrobatics, a dancing bear… you name it.

If interested, please call Carolyn or come to the Grayland Community Hall on Tuesday, March 1, at 6:30 p.m.
