Join the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 Ocosta Elementary students this Saturday, Feb. 27, in the Ocosta High School Commons at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., as they bring to life an original musical adaptation of the classic children’s story, “Rumpelstiltskin.” This spirited tale is sure to please audiences of all ages.
In this story, a strange little gnome appears from here, there and everywhere. He will spin your straw into gold … for a price. If his price is too steep, you must guess his name … Rumpelstiltskin! Join in the fun of Festival Time and help Clara guess the mischievous little gnome’s name.
You will also encounter a Jester, Villagers, Wizards, a Queen, a King, Knights and a band of busy little Bees. This heart-warming tale of mischief and friendship answers more questions than just “What is that little man’s name?”
This production is part of the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s unique international touring project and is presented locally by the Ocosta Elementary School PTO. The children have been rehearsing a full week after school to get ready for their performance.
Tickets are $3, with children 4 and under free. You may purchase tickets in advance at the Elementary School Office and at the door.
