The South Beach Writers Group will host an author’s talk and book signing featuring Ocean Shores journalist Gene Woodwick on Saturday, March 12, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Westport Library.
Woodwick has been chronicling happens “Up the Beach” along Washington’s coast north of Grays Harbor for many years via her popular columns in Aberdeen’s The Daily World.
Woodwick will share passages from her latest work, Island Girl, a true story about a love affair with Washington’s San Juan Islands seen through Gene’s eyes as a young girl.
Light refreshments will be served.
