Alan A. Pepin died Nov. 18, 2018, at the Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend; he was 80. Alan was born to Alex and Wilma (Pernula) Pepin on July 2, 1938, in Raymond.
After graduating from Ocosta High School in 1957, he married Margaret Ann Pepin, who he remained married to until her passing in 2016.
Alan’s work history consisted of being a charter boat Skipper and owner for 40+ years and Pepin Construction for 20 years. Some of his hobbies included woodworking, drawing, and painting.
Surviving Alan are his son Alan Alex Pepin Jr. of Grayland, his daughter Suzanne Perry Carter of Olympia, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be a potluck celebration of life held at the Westport VFW on Dec. 8, at 12 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to bring pictures and stories.
