Art Studio Tour
April 15-16 — Nearly two dozen artists living and working in Tokeland and North Cove will offer private studio tours and art displays at the Tokeland Hotel from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. A fundraiser auction and wine tasting to benefit the OHS Art Club will be held Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.
Alzheimer’s Support Group
April 18 — Alzheimer’s Association family caregiver support meets from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Aberdeen, located at 420 N. Broadway St. More info: 360-533-2277. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month.
Grayland Children’s Hospital Guild

Tokeland All School Reunion

April 25 — Westport American Legion Post #140 and its Ladies Auxiliary will meet in the VFW Youth Center for a potluck dinner at 6 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. meeting. The Youth Center is located behind the VFW Post Home at 211 E. Pacific Ave. in Westport. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month from February through November.
April 25 — Broomstick Pool matches are played at the Local Bar & Grill the last Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. Sixteen players maximum may play in each tourney. Cost is $3 per person, with the pot split among the top three scorers. You may sign up in advance or play space available on match days.
April 29 — It’s a spring sweep for trash along the beaches sponsored by Olympic Coast Cleanup. Grab a litter bag and join in. More info: www.coastsavers.org.
Parks & Rec meeting
May 1 — South Beach Parks & Recreation District commission members meet at 6 p.m. at the Grayland Community Hall. The district owns and manages the Grayland Community Hall and its surrounding grounds. The commissioners usually meet the first Monday of each month.
Westport/South Beach Senior Center
May 1 – This month’s board meeting is at 1 p.m. at 114 E. Pacific Ave. in uptown Westport. All seniors 55 and older and living in the Ocosta School District are welcome and urged to attend. The Senior House is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Lunch is served at noon for $3. With the exception of holidays, board meetings are held the first Monday of each month.
Women’s Prayer and Praise
May 2 — Christian Women’s Prayer and Praise group meets each Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at Living Hope Church, located at 617 S. Forrest St. in Westport. All women welcome.
Grayland Water District
May 2 — Regular monthly Grays Harbor Water District No. 1 Commission meetings now will be held at 3 p.m. in the Water District office located at 2058 SR105. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month.
North Willapa Artist Community
May 2 — The North Willapa Artist Community will have a potluck meeting at 6 p.m. at the new Nelson Crab retail building at the Tokeland Marina. All artists are welcome. More info on Facebook: North Willapa Artist Community. The organization meets the first Tuesday of each month.
Local artists at Westport Senior Center
May 2 — Artisans and crafters gather in like company every Tuesday to visit and share ideas while working on individual projects at the Westport Senior Center. The building is open from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Attendees are requested to donate $1 to $2 per visit to the Senior Center to help defray utilities costs. More info: 360-268-5159.
Outreach spaghetti dinner
May 2 — South Beach Christian Outreach will offer a fundraising spaghetti dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Living Hope Church, located at 617 S. Forrest St. in uptown Westport. A $5 donation is requested to help defray the cost of the meal and to help neighbors in need on the South Beach. The dinners are offered the first Tuesday of each month except December.
Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
May 3 — The regularly scheduled meeting of the City of Westport Lodging Tax Advisory Committee will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Westport City Council Chambers at 506 N. Montesano St. The public is welcome. The committee studies options for using the 5 percent excise taxes earmarked for tourism promotion, then makes recommendations to the City Council. The meetings usually are held the first Wednesday of the month from September through June.
Robert Gray DAR
May 4 — The Robert Gray Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at the United Methodist Church on the corner of Fifth and L streets in Hoquiam. Please bring a sack lunch to eat before the noon meeting. Visitors welcome. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month.

May 4 — Members of Grayland Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. at the Grayland Community Hall. All South Beach citizens are invited to attend. The group usually meets the first Thursday of each month.

May 4 — The Grays Harbor Democratic Party Club will meet at 7 p.m. at the Polish Club, 823 W. First St., Aberdeen. The group meets the first Thursday of every month.
Ocosta Rec. Oyster Feed

May 11 — The South Beach Fire and EMS Board meets in Westport City Council chambers on the second Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. The public is welcome.
Ocosta Booster Club
May 14 — The monthly meeting will start at 7 p.m. in the Ocosta High School library. All South Beach citizens interested in our schools welcome. The club provides financial support for athletic and academic programs, sports banquets, individual camps, state competitions, sports equipment and scholarships for students at Ocosta Jr/Sr High. The group meets at 7 p.m. the second Sunday of each month from September through June.
