Mark these dates for the WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties’ 20th Home and Garden Show: Saturday, May 18, (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Sunday, May 19 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.) The Elma Fairgrounds Pavilion will be filled with every kind of home and garden vendor. Parking and admission are free.
Find great shrubs, trees, vegetable, flowers, antiques and art. For remodeling look for gutters, roofing, cabinetry and more. The Master Gardener Store will have planters for your deck or patio. New this year: Find colorful cut flower bouquets, then choose a matching vase, also for sale. Master Gardeners will be available to answer your questions.
Two great speakers highlight this year:
• Saturday, Sue Goetz, garden designer and writer, will suggest easy, creative yard-and-garden solutions in her talk, “Fix My Yard!” Fine Gardening magazine has presented her its “Best Design” award. She has been listed as one of the top 50 garden designers in the Northwest Home and Garden magazine.
Sunday, the ever-popular Cisco Morris, returns to the show. Northwest gardeners will recognize him from his shows and frequent appearances around the area. He is internationally known for his hosting of garden tours across the world. This year’s talk is “Dazzling Plant Combos.”
